Recommendation for kids

Fun, interesting surprise category toy. I bought it for parts for a project, which worked out well, but I also admired its design as a toy.

This is good for many hours of playtime. Great purchase!

This VIP Pet has inset eyes and incredibly long hair. This really encourages hair play - in a time when many fashion dolls are skimping on hair length and quality, it's really nice to see a company stepping up and making something targeted clearly to this demographic.VIP Pets, this one included, make amazing head donors as well - by that I mean you can pop off the head of the doll easily and put it on the body of a properly proportioned fashion doll (for example: Rainbow High) to make a cute anthropomorphic doll. There aren't many anthro-dolls on the market right now (Enchantimals might be the only one?) so having a head donor option with good quality and inset eyes to make your own semi-abomination is a huge plus.I'm a fan and would certainly recommend to someone looking for a doll with huge hair play potential. The only downside is the lack of any articulation besides the side-to-side head movement.

*Update: I said below “if my daughter was rating this it would be 5 stars”. Well it’s for her and she loves it. It’s been some time and it’s still one of her favorites. They seems to either be new or rare and her friends love it because they don’t have them. Might just be the new hit thing. Or at least the hot thing to make it out here.If my daughter was rating this, it would be 5 stars. She really likes this little cat and it has been by her side since she got it. The accessories were fun for her to open but I think it was the novelty of unboxing that made them so much fun. She does keep them organized and in the box (which is rather large) that the toy came with. As a parent, i see it as just more junk that she will likely lose interest in.... but then again this wasn't made for me and so far she is really excited.She had never seen these toys before (and none of her friends have one) which i also think is really making a difference in her excitement. We will see how long it lasts. If you child likes cats/rainbows/ and enjoys the unboxing of thigs like LOL dolls or mystery boxes, then they will certainly get a kick out of this. At least for a little while.As far as price, I don't know what these would sell for elsewhere. But the tag seems reasonable given what you get and what other similar toys cost.

My daughter loved this. She is three. I wasn’t quite as keen. The surprises were confusing. Once you unravel the hair you are supposed to style it with some elastics that was provided. The directions were vague and lacking. I didn’t not understand how to use the one plastic hair accessory. It came with a suction cup. No idea what I was supposed to do with it. It wasn’t mentioned in the directions. This didn’t come with the pedestal pictures.Overall my daughter just loved this, but I felt it left bit to be desired.

My daughter loves cats and styling hair, so this toy was literally perfect for her. The packaging is amazing and beautiful and instantly my daughter was excited to open it. Inside included Elektra the cat, a bunch of fun accessories, and magic glitter glue. My daughter loved the surprise factor of this toy and the fact that it glows in the dark too. The magic glue was exciting for her and fun, but a bit messy for me. Also the toy didn't glow as well as I would have hoped, but my little girl still thought it was cool. The cat has gorgeous long hair that can be styled in so many ways. Everything is well made and detailed, and it's a lot bigger than I expected. Overall my daughter loves it and plays with it often. She is definitely satisfied and we would recommend it.

Almost too much hair, as it keeps trying to get stuck in the latch and/or makes the cat fit awkwardly when it’s time to close up her case.Hair doesn’t glow even a tiny percent of what the pictures look like.The hair glitter is 100% unnecessary. It just makes the cat’s hair feel nasty and despite being large glitter pieces, it will stick around same as small glitters do.That said this is a super cute toy. Keeps our kiddo busy for hours even though it feels like t here’s not much to play with here.
