Excellent production quality of game materials. The plot was cleverly constructed and thoroughly absorbing, hard enough to be interesting but not so hard as to be disheartening. Provided an excellent afternoons fun. The graduated online help is great if you are stuck without spoiling rest of the case.

Really good game that kept us guessing, feels more realistic than other murder mystery games we’ve played. Excellent quality resources and packaging that adds to the realism. This is the second Cryptic Killers game we’ve played and we liked that they were so different from each other.*SPOILER* !!!!Only one complaint….Unanswered question:*SPOILER*How did the killer get hold of the weapon? After we had worked it out we went through all the clues and evidence to check we hadn’t missed anything and couldn’t find how they had got it.

Absolutely fantastic evening with these murder mysteries!! We put a YouTube up of a fire place, got the pizzas out, and spent 3-4 hours solving crimes. Me and my friends agreed it was such a fun, wholesome evening and told all our friends about it. The packs are easy to understand once you read the intro, and then the fun begins. The quality of the items in the pack were fab. Cannot recommend enough! We’ll be buying them all and have already planned our next murder mystery night

It was great fun, bought it for a hang out with my college mates we started doing it at 11pm and then gave up at around 1am cause we got confused spent 3 days trying to figure out what we were doing wrong to realise we were reading too deeply into thing (tbh tho some things that you get told from some of the information is IRRELEVANT or doesn't mean anything) we got stuck for so long and then we looked at the hints get 5 in total 5th one tells you the answer and we went through all 5 to be completely confused because we already had all the info the hints gave us so we usued the fith one snd only read the first sentence to realise we had the answer all along just kept skipping over it and then the part two that you get in the pack we did significantly quicker however you gotta look at things for part one when doing part two others you're going to miss so many things but we managed to solve it we all had fun was a little annoying that it took us so long for very simple things but all in all for our first time doing one it was good. It came with all the information even if you were missing things you can find the missing pieces from a link they give you, all of the things we were given we're very good things like cards and photos were made very well i highly recommend this if you're looking for something to do it's definitely worth the money and it's easy to set up with a group of people or yourself :)

Set during april in Australia.Amazing game, had me and my partner scratching ours heads and going through the same peice of evidence 10x as there was always something we missed. Amazing game to play if you got a good 5 hours to spare. Quite difficult for those that haven't tried any of the previous ones. Its rated 4/5, so if it's your first time doing cryptic killer case files, go for an easier one

A thought provoking and brilliant cryptic murder mystery. Tooks us slightly longer than 3 hours but the wife has a logical and sceptical mind so she won the day. Will be buying more

This was really fun to play! We found these at the Birmingham gaming convention and were convinced to buy it. We bought the mirror casino one. It was pretty easy and we guessed the killer in about 10 minutes but gaslit ourselves for another 50 we were wrong. However, this one was so much harder! We had to even use the hints to help us. Really enjoyable! The quality is so fab and it's just so much fun.

What a fantastic new way to spend date night! Thanks to Luke and Cryptic Killers for this awesome game. Immersive and accessible, yet with a clear attention to detail that means you will need to reread and comb fine details. Small things, like real envelopes and real receipt paper are touches with real class. There's plenty of online help as well which is spoiler free and clearly labelled to help - you will succeed, either by diligence, or simply finding a Web page.Definitely recommended for all ages, families, friends, or even for a single player looking for an alternative to online gaming or board games that require multiple players. This would be fantastic if you live alone and want something new to try.We will be buying the other games in the series.
