Would recommend!
Use this every night!!!! So perfect and would buy again! We use the dehumidifier button and it makes the bedroom 65 degrees. Been having it for over a year and it’s doing great. We recommend it to anyone that asks us. My window is small so we had to cut the plastic but that is it. The noise is perfect at night because we can’t hear our loud roommate and his gf 😀.

You can turn it on and off with alexa
So here's a one cheat i found. If you shut the power off like pulling out the power cable while AC is running and put it back on, then it will turn itself on and continues to run AC.So if you have a smart plug, then you can turn on the AC and shut the power off from the smart plug that way whenever you turn on the power from the smart plug, AC will start. This way i can turn on the AC even when i'm outside. Also when you use "fan" only mode, it still exfiltrates the air using the vent and it's pretty good when you want fresh air

Cools the room cheaply
Using a room a/c to cool a room at night instead of central air is a huge money saver for us. We've a had a few, this one works perfectly fine. It cools the room, its not too loud -- all we asked for. However, like every single portable the venting hose is centered in the middle of the back of the unit, which means it's designed to sit practically in the middle of the room for the hose to be at less than a right angle. We need ours to be in the corner which necessitates the hose kinked like an S to get vented out the window. This is the most absurd design flaw and they all have it. If the hose were attached in such a way that it came straight up the back and then had the flexible portion go out the window it would fit so much better in every room -- I would buy multiple units! As it is if you install one, just know it WILL COOL THE ROOM CHEAPLY but in spite of its relatively small size, to accommodate the venting hose it needs a floor footprint about 4' x4' or the size of a small couch. The design requires either A) you don't have any other furniture under the window or B) you will leave the unit in the middle of the room with an unattractive venting hose the size of a giant python snaking out your window.

GREAT VALUE
I have a small workshop in a detached cinder block building with little heat reduction capability. The AC is enough to cool the area of approximately 250 sq. ft., from 85° to a comfortable temperature in the low 70's and at a lower humidity level as well. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it, based on the price point. After using it for almost 2 months now, I have been very pleasantly surprised at the performance. I would recommend this product.

“Updated Review”
Update:6/25/24So this is a first and a theme hopefully all companies or sellers will follow. The company reached out to me after seeing the review with zero obligation to do so and got me a replacement unit that is working great.Original Content:Got this for a very small room located in basement. The unit worked great for the first month or so and then started to get extremely warm on the side of the unit. It generates more heat than it’s pulling out of the room.

This Air Conditioner Blows Cold!
This little air conditioner can really blow some cold air. I have it in my bedroom, which is upstairs and can get pretty warm in the summertime. It's a 14x18 room and it can get it cooled off really fast. It can cool the whole room within 10-15 minutes. It is a fairly quiet unit, not really as loud as the fan I use sometimes. I noticed my electric bill didn't go up by much at all, maybe $20 max. I feel I made a good investment with this unit. I've had it a couple of months now so let's see how long it lasts.

good for small rooms
Built quality is very good. Given its size, it is not meant for larger rooms. Installation was very easy and I had bo issues with it. The only thing I wish was better is the draining hose. It would be better if there is a special opening for it on the window seal plates where it can be hooked securely. One important issue I faced is the periodic automatic shut off which felt was random. It just shuts off and immediately trun back on in really less than a second. It seemed like it may be trying to conserve energy when the desired temperature has been reached, but for some reasons it kicks right back on within a second. I got concerned because this may negatively affect the compressor's lifespan with this harsh cycles that keeps repeating randomly. The manual mentions nothing about this issue which us really bad. There is no mention of any feature that may at least explain those random shut offs which is really stupid, honestly. I tried Googling the issue as well for this specific model, but I really got nothing about it which made me doubt that my unit may have an issue. However, after reading about different AC models, I found some of them has a similar issue where some users reported that long pressing on the "fan" puts it one continuous operation and kind of stops this feature.+++ edit: I was wrong! Unfortunately, this way does not stop it from frequently shutting off! This AC may not last long. I don't recommend. For this, I'm updating my rating to 3 stars until I find a solution.Overall, good for the price. Terrible manual.
