I wanted a simple light for my sewing table. This light is not too tall & has a handy switch on the base. Perfect for my table. Nice heavy base.

Had to get a replacement for my old red lamp suddenly. This lamp is lower. I wish it had a neck as long as my previous one. I tried to order the same one, but couldn't find it. In addition the lead is also shorter for some unknown reason. I often wonder why leads seem to be getting shorter for products. I wish they would stop being so scant with them as we actually do need a decent length or it makes devices more difficult.Apart from that, I am very happy with my lamp. The bulb I am using is bright and it is an energy saving bulb. So if you are having trouble with brightness, you need a better choice.I love that this lamp has a button on the base as opposed to my previous one having it along the wire. It's more secure at the base.I would recommend this lamp and I'm so glad I was able to find the colour I wanted -- red.There weren't very many red lamps for me to choose from at the time I bought this one.

I was so pleased with mine, I got one for my mum. Pretty sure I'll be getting more! The lamp's very compact, it's stable, the bendy neck works great, and it's nice to have a simple on/off switch instead of fancy options. There's nothing to dislike about the design except the rather short power cord.This lamp can take a 6.5w LED bulb, brighter than its competitors. It matters when you want an extra light for reading or craft work, etc.

This is a fantastic lamp in my opinion. A very simple product, but nevertheless, a very good one. The lamp arrived in a cardboard box & was very well packaged. After removing the packaging, I inspected the lamp and found that it was a sturdy & well-built product - not necessarily what you might expect given the price tag. Aesthetically, it is very pleasing - I ordered the blue coloured version of this lamp and it looks great!The lamp uses an E27 (Edison Screw) type bulb with a maximum wattage of 40. This is a relatively common bulb type to get hold of, which is a bonus. I have only used low energy lamps with this product and I have found the lamp assembly to be slightly too small for these types of bulbs. I am currently using an LED bulb (Lighting EVER E27 6 Watt A55 LED Bulbs, Replace 50 Watt Incandescent Bulb, Indoor Lighting, Energy Efficient Lights, Daylight White) and this extends out of the lamp assembly slightly - I think normal incandescent bulbs will have no problem fitting into this lamp however.When it comes to using the lamp, simply plug it into a mains electricity socket & then use the switch on the base to turn the light on or off - simple as that! The quality of the light produced is very much dependent on the bulb that is used, but I have found that the lamp produces a reasonably even spread of light on my desk.All in all, a very straight forward product to use that does a great job - if you're looking for an inexpensive, but good quality desk lamp, then I would highly recommend this.

To me these 2 lamps look like returns with some scratches around the switch area.I used to work in a returns centre & i do know what goes on.

Great little desk lamp, good price and very fast delivery. Its a shame it didn't come with a bulb.
