This rail just as good as I had hoped. I purchased the extendable version and attached to an Ashley adjustable bed with ease. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to damage any electrical on the underside but the bars fit perfectly and I was able to secure it on either side of the beds motor with an electric screwdriver. Just to note there is no way the included strap (for a standard bed) would work on an adjustable bed. It is very secure and is easily removed. With arthritis in my hands this was a must. Pop it off to make up the bed or tend to your loved one then pop it back on. They don't rise much above a thick mattress, mine is 12 inches, but it is enough to provide fall prevention and security while hanging on to it. I am very pleased with my purchase after studying other bed rail options.

We bought it for my elderly wife’s hospital bed at home. It makes her feel secure and allows her to position herself in her bed.

Very easy to use and convenient if a fold down type won't work. Unfortunately, the Assisted Living place where my mom is went around one day & removed all bed rails, apparently due to risk of injury. I'm guessing they got a memo from somewhere. Ended up with hospice who delivered an adjustable bed with padded, covered rails that was okay. Perhaps if this unit came with a cover that blocked the holes it would have worked.

happy with quality. removes easily with one push of a button. used this in a adjustable power bed. you need a wood base to attach. installs with 6 drywall screws that are provided. instructions state you can not install on a open metal base but you could install it if you had a piece of plywood over the base. only neg is the price but for the safety its worth it.

After buying this, I haven’t had as much trouble falling or getting out of bed. Made very well. Works with a lift bed. Love it!

This is not for an Adjustable Bed. That is false advertising. I bought this for my mother and went to install it , she has an adjustable bed, but I found out when I tried to instal it I’d have to DRILL INTO BED FRAME!!! No where prominent does this appear in the description. I’ve asked Amazon to make sure it is added. Also as I was later than the 30 days so I won’t get a refund😡 Amazon keeps changing where and how you can return things. It makes it harder to return things if you have no car and a large heavy box.
