Updated 5.4.2025 - I purchased these replacement covers again and they are NOT the same as I received previously. They are twice as long and in no way fit the city pickers planters. The one I tried to use today measured 48 inches by 24 inches, not 20 by 24 listed on the page. I will be returning and trying to find something else to use as a cover.*******************I was highly skeptical when I pulled one of these replacement covers out of the bag. It was just a flat piece of fabric with two draw strings on the sides. No corner pockets or anything to help it cling to the top of my City Picker self watering planter. I even went and got out a cover for the new City Picker planter I had just bought. Photo one shows the two covers side by side. They are definitely not identical in construction (original City Picker cover on left, replacement on right). But I decided to give it a try because I couldn’t find any other replacement covers and to my surprise it actually works. Placing the water filler spout through the cover (after cutting the hole for it) helped to hold it in place and I managed to tighten the side cords enough that it wrapped around the top and seems secure. So, while these are not identical replacement covers for the City Picker self watering planter, it seem like it will do the job. The second photo is the replacement cover on the box.

This is a good replacement cover. It is not exactly the same as the one that originally came with my patio picker. I thought I got a defective one or something at first because it did not have elastic around it. Then I realized you have to cinch it up on the sides using the adjustable string/cord. Once I figured that out, it does work and I really do think it's a decent, good replacement. Instructions would have been helpful, but there were none.

They have changed how these are made. They use to fit over the corners and then you tightened the draw strings. Now they are a flat piece that you have to work with for awhile to get on and then the corners are not secured. Cheaply made compared to last ones I purchased. They will still work, I just don't like them as well.

The good: they are great weed blockers, easy to use, and even the black ones even heat up the soil a bit in the sun to help seedlings along.The bad: they tear easily, and slugs and other 'bad garden bugs' love to congregate in masses under themThe ugly: being outside for less than 3 weeks, squirrels not only tore them to hell but also scattered the pieces all over my yards... I have no idea why... maybe they hate me or maybe squirrels are just insane.The product is decent for what it does so it gets my 5-stars, but I think I just go with bare soil next time. After all, it's not the seller's fault I have lots of slugs and psychotic squirrels.

Fits perfectly (and the grow box really works!)

The measurements are inaccurate. The product that arrived is 52 inches by 25 inches. In order to get it to fit the City Pickers/Little Pickers box, which is 24.5 inches. x 20.5 inches, I had to center it over the box and pull the drawstrings fully in. Even then, it overhangs the edges by several inches and does not fit snugly. I expect it will collect water and slide out of place after the first real summer thunderstorm.I am only keeping these because they're too cheap to be worth the hassle of returning. I already have landscape fabric, it would be much easier to cut that to size and use staples along the edges/corners instead of a drawstring.

These were not made to fit the 24" x 20" planters I have. They are about 48" long. I had to bunch them up on the ends to make them work as I didn't have time to return them and reorder.
