Halcyon Nights Paperback – 26 May 2022

Every book this author has written has been a pleasure to read.Yes it was Hot,Hot,Hot.But done so with taste.MJ. In my opinion is one of the top ten authors of lesbian writer's.You know when a book is good when you find yourself reading slowly when you are getting towards the end.I highly recommend you reading the Symphony series (by the way MJ) Mallory is still my favourite character.

What a beautiful and romantic story finding the love of your life and having a happy ending without expecting it. Wonderful characters, realistic dialogues, amazing descriptions of scenery. Plenty of feelings and emotions, intense scenes and so much love. Fully enjoyable book and definitely worthy of the 5 stars.

The characters are lovely in this story and the author sets the scenes as though you are right there in the snow and the log cabin. Just thought the story was dragged out a little bit. Also would have been nice to know more about the other characters in this story.

Wow fantastic storyline I loved the main characters chemistry it shone through the book their journey together and separately was incredible heartbreaking loving everything you want in a book definitely top three must read outstanding congratulations

I really enjoyed this story.Hot, firefighter Emerson loves her quiet remote country life, Mari is a hot shot LA screen writer and loves her career. This is a sweet gentle love story with great characters and a very adorable dog. What's not to love.

Love all MJ Duncan books, this one honestly was better than the others. I love the Interaction with Dog & owner.Just an amazing book.Descriptions of the scenery realistic also transported me to faraway places.Just an enjoyable fun read….

Just read it, you won’t be disappointed!The only downside is the wait for the next book, if you could just clone yourself and pop out books every week that would be great.

Awesome book, fun and great characters. Had a feel of 'Unadulterated Something' which is absolutely one of my favourite books so definately a winner for me!

Emerson is a paramedic in Minnesota with an adorable pup named Sasha. Driving home on a stormy night, she stops for a stranded motorist who is a Hollywood screenwriter named Mari. It's a very cute setup with instant chemistry. The only drawback is Mari is only staying for six months on her writing sabbatical, but Emerson is her new muse so anything can happen, right!It's a very sexy, loving and fun story - just like the rom-coms Mari writes. There are no villains or negativity. Emerson's best friends Lance and Quinn are just perfect secondary characters and Sasha, well, she had me in stitches! She's just full of unconditional love. However, when it was time for Mari to leave, their goodbye had me in a puddle of tears! I was cheering so hard for their HEA! Another great story, MJ!!!

Definitely makes me want to visit Minnesota. LolThe chemistry between Mari and Emerson was palpable. I always like MJ's world building and wouldn't mind another go around in Mystic.Definitely recommending this to friends.

I saw a recommendation for this book on twitter a few months back but only now I finally managed to read it and what a read it was! Beautifully written, steamy, funny, heart-wrenching and heart-warming - a wonderful rollercoaster of emotions set in the beautiful serenity of small town Minnesota. Loved this story, the characters were believable and honest, their story gave me the feels in all the right places. A few tears were definitely shed at times but it was all worth it.Can’t wait for the next one.

Sweet story with two awesome characters who where mature and gentle. No useless drama. She made the story realistic and wonderful.
