I picked up this Yale Small Value Safe for £19, which is an excellent price for what you get. I bought it as a gift for my nephew, who’s recently started collecting coins and wanted a secure place to store them after seeing my larger Yale safe. For a small, budget safe, build quality is better than expected. The steel body feels solid enough for its intended purpose, the locking bolts engage positively, and the door closes cleanly without feeling flimsy. This is very much a deterrent safe rather than high-security storage, but that’s exactly what you should expect at this size and price. The digital keypad is simple to set up and easy to use, which makes it particularly suitable for younger users. The LED indicators are clear and give immediate feedback when locking or unlocking. The interior light is a nice touch and makes it easy to see contents in a dim room. Capacity is ideal for documents, sensitive information, small valuables, or collections like coins. It’s compact enough to sit on a shelf or in a cupboard without being intrusive. The emergency override key is reassuring to have, especially if the code is forgotten or the batteries run flat. This is a great starter safe. It’s not secure enough to store items of serious value, and if that’s your goal you really do need to go bigger and heavier. But for basic security, organising important papers, or giving a younger person a chance to interact with proper safety storage, it works very well. Overall, excellent value for money at £19. A simple, easy-to-use safe that’s ideal as a first step into secure storage rather than a replacement for a full-size safe.

Recieved it the other week.. Package was damaged from the rain.. AGAIN! Why I'm knocking a star off this review! (Amazon.. Sort yourselves out! I live a busy life, rarely can I give up my day to stay in and pick up a package.) The safe itself is brilliant! Survived Amazon's bumbling and came to me in one piece. The Safe wasn't that heavy to carry. Instructions were simple to follow. Came with 2 Emergency keys incase you forget your password or the batteries in your safe die. Back of the battery case there is a reset button, so you press that, then enter a new 8 digit password, it'll beep twice to tell you that it was successful. It comes with holes in the back and bottom, so you can drill it with screws into your wall/floor so thieves can't run off with your safe. Hired a builder friend to drill it in for me. It is now firm and secure with an electronic keypad and handle to open when the correct password is entered. I love it! Like I said, Amazon's ridiculous policy of not using waterproof packaging ruined a 5 star rating here, otherwise I would! Great work Yale!

Really easy to setup and lightweight but sturdy so valuables should be safe. Good value for money too.

I bought this for our passports and some emergency cash, and it’s been exactly what we needed. For the price, it’s excellent value for money and feels much more sturdy than some of the unbranded ones I looked at. The setup was very easy—I had my code programmed in minutes. A big plus is the key functionality; it comes with two manual override keys that are hidden behind the Yale logo on the front. It’s a huge relief knowing I can still get in if the batteries ever fail or if I forget the code. Because it’s a compact size, it was very easy to find a good hide place for it. I’ve tucked mine away at the back of a built-in wardrobe, and since it’s pre-drilled, I was able to bolt it directly to the wall. It’s straightforward to use and small enough to stay out of sight, but big enough for all our important documents. Highly recommended for basic home security!

Very easy setup and decent locking mechanism and key over ride for emergencies, well built and a decent size, soft thin matt inside to protect things, comes with bolts to fix to wall , small enough to conceal, easy to open close and use and an ideal upgrade to home security and that little extra peace of mind. Well worth the money!

Purchased this safe on sale, just wanted something small to store some valuables. First thing I noticed when I opened the box was the key pad. The key pad wasn’t on straight, bit of a quality control issue but the key pad has worked fine with no issues. Inside the safe it comes with screws, batteries for keypad, instructions, over ride keys (2 keys) The safe did tip over when first opened due to it being door heavy so beware if not attaching to wall ect The inputting of the number code was easy, press the button where the batteries are installed and put in the code of choice and press the tick ✔️ button. Tried this to see if worked and it did with no issues There is a Yale logo that pops on the safe to cover the override key hole. Over all it would probably be easy for someone to lift and and break into but it will be fine for someone who just wants to put a few belongings in. Small enough to conceal/store in cupboards or wardrobes ect

Gav bort som julklapp. I obruten originalförpackning, säkerhetsskåpet var dock skadat i lacken och hade en del repor på sig. Men väljer trots det att ha kvar skåpet då mitt barn skulle bli mer ledsen över att vänta på en retur.
