I've tried several of the hair care products from this brand and I especially like the leave-in treatments. I wash my hair every day, and I almost always need to use a conditioner as my hair is otherwise hopelessly tangled. It is oily near the roots and dry and damaged at the ends. I use one of this brand's leave-in treatments two or three times a week. Sometimes I skip the conditioning step if I am going to use a treatment, but most of the time I just use both (my hair needs all of the help it can get). I have long but very fine (baby fine, actually) hair and so many shampoos make the tangling issue worse and conditioners and leave-in hair care products help with that issue but then weigh it down or leave it limp and hard to manage. I'm very happy to have found the Vital Care products. They work very well for my hair, give it some much-needed volume and I can layer them as needed and my hair doesn't feel heavy or over-conditioned. All of the products in this line (dark blue bottle) smell great. There are three of these leave-in treatments (Volumizing, Argan & Silk) and they all work very well with my hair, leaving it feeling soft and looking healthy and shiny. This Silk version feels light on my hair and separates the strands for a slightly fuller look that lasts all day, even in the summer heat. I think this product also enhances the color of my hair (dishwater blonde with natural summer highlights as well as some silver). My hair has a bit of a natural wave and will take a curl easily, but won't hold it. This treatment helps my hair hold a curl better. My hair feels stronger and less dry & brittle + not as prone to breakage since I started using these leave-in treatments (I use the three interchangeably). They are so easy to use -- I just need a dime-sized dollop and I work it through my hair while it is still damp and avoiding the roots. The current price of $19.97 for a bottle containing a little over 10 ounces seems very reasonable to me. Since I use just a small amount per application, this will last a long time.

...of leave in products.If I like a conditioner and have good results, sometimes, even if it is not labeled as "leave in" I will leave it in.Undesirable results might be weighed down or greasy looking or feeling hair.I don't experience that with this product, but the other side of the coin is, my hair doesn't exactly feel "silky".Sorry, don't mean to contradict myself but it's neither weighed down, but it isn't silky either. It's okay.I said it in the headline of the other two products I've used and reviewed from this line and, while this is a nice product, I'm just not $20.00 a bottle wow'd by it.Yes, I will use it; maybe over the life of the bottle, my opinion will change and if it does, I'll update this review with that info.I've given this an overall 4 star rating based on perceived quality of ingredients.I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

I used this Keratin Leave in after cleaning my hair earlier. I've been using an abundance of moisturizing products lately, so I figured it was time to switch up. Since keratin provides strength, I gave this a try. It's lightweight, has great slippage & a nice scent. It wasn't oily & didn't make my skin greasy as the day went on. I let my hair air dry & it feels good. #MadeInTheUSA

My hair appreciates a change. This product works great as a leave in conditioner. My hair feels softer with it.

My wife likes this Keratin Silk leave in treatment. She tried it on her hair after washing while still wet, and it detangles nicely when blow drying. She also tried it on dry hair, but that was a big no no as it made her hair look frizzy again! Only use on wet or damp hair!

I am nearing 60, I have extremely dry shoulder length hair that’s also very fine, I have a little grey and use semi permanent color. I have trouble getting a comb through my wet hair even after using loads of conditioner. After I washed and conditioned as recommended, I used a small amount, about half a teaspoon of this leave in conditioner, rubbed it in my hands and as soon as it touched my hair I could feel it relax and a comb slipped right through it easily. This didn’t weigh my fine hair down at all, even the next day it didn’t look greasy or heavy. My hair feels really soft and super shiny. I shed a lot of hair, so I have a lot of fly away hairs that frizz up like crazy in high humidity. This didn’t lay down all my flyaways and make my hair look like silk exactly but it did make it a whole lot better and I think the more I use it the better it will get, I have really damaged hair and being realistic, I didn’t expect a miracle but I did see a major improvement and I would definitely buy this again. Three people commented on how nice my hair looked and that hasn’t happened in many years! It’s pricey yes but it will last a really long time because you use so little. I was very pleased it didn’t smell like old man cologne, I don’t know why every keratin product I’ve gotten stinks so bad but this one has a very light, pleasant clean scent that doesn’t linger, that was a nice plus. This is an excellent leave in conditioner, I’ll be ordering again.

This is a great leave-in treatment for dry and damaged hair. It repairs and nourishes damaged hair without weighing it down or making it feel sticky.
