The capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven't had any digestive issues while taking these. You don't get fish burps like with regular omega-3s, but you will get seaweed burps since it's algae-based. It's not gross, just something to be aware of. Seems to be a good option for vegans, but it's a bit pricey compared to others.

Unfortunately, the first batch I got of this seemed fine no smell no problems. The last two bags I got smelled strong of fish and the last bag I got most of the pills were broken and there was oil all inside the bag. It seems quality control is not working very well for this company.

My mom had a surgery when I was a kid and now lives with just a tiny part of her pancreas. Because of this she can’t handle many foods or pills… nothing too oily or heavy, or she’ll feel terrible. Recently she needed to add more omega-3 into her life, so she had to change her diet and start taking supplements. The problem was that eating more fish and avocado, plus taking Omega 3 pills (usually made with fish oil) was upsetting her stomach and pancreas. These omega-3 pills made with algae oil, were an immediate solution - super gentle on her pancreas and stomach. It’s made her routine so much easier. We’re both happy to have finally found something smooth and easy that works for her!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I am not a fan of the smell of this product. The smell also leads into the taste once you get past that it’s easy to swallow. It’s effective and has good health benefits I just don’t like the smell of it.

Smell is more potent than any fish oil supplement I’ve smelled or tasted. Throwing them out. I suspect this has to do with improper storage through Amazon. Previous products I’ve bought directly from complement were milder. Live and learn.

Major help with getting my Omega3s. And in only burped fish smell did half the day! Haha!
