The directions weren't super fantastic but adequate. It's quite sturdy. My cat isn't large but I can't see why a large cat couldn't enjoy it as well. My cat took about a week to start using it regularly. I put a small self-warming mat in the cubby and he loves that! You don't find a nice blue color in cat trees very often. Overall, I'm really satisfied, especially for the price. It lost a star because the carpeting is smooth, which may not be good for older cats who need a good grip of rough carpet. Also, a bolt shows opposite the perch on the cubby platform, which isn't my favorite thing. Still worth it.

We had a bit of a problem putting it together BUTIt's up and I love it. So far the 9 and 11 pound cats have been on it exploring it. I have a,14 and 18 pound cat who haven't tried it yet .

Our cats love it !! Highly recommended if you have cats.

My cat was very interested in this, however it is way too small for an adult cat, more suitable for kittens.

It's too small for our fat cat - there needs to be a PLUS-SIZED "big and beautiful kitty" line to accommodate Bob Cat. Because of his size and weight, the base isn't secure enough for his liking. I repurposed it as an adventure house for my cockatoo, who thinks it's da bomb.

Bought as a gift for a friend who is a first time cat Dad! It's perfect, not too small and not too large! His cat loves it!
