It's a mesh screen.
As a puck screen, it does exactly what you'd expect.I've used it for a couple of months now and I have noticed it does greatly improve espresso taste and work-flow.Feels like okay quality stainless steel, it hasn't started to rust yet.Good value for money.To clean, I keep use the dishwasher or a brush with hot water and soap.

Much more consistent pulls
Perfect addition to my puck preparation. The espresso shots are much more consistent and well worth the spend. No need to buy expensive alternatives.

Don’t work well at all
Wouldn’t recommend these to be honest, they are the size needed for my portafilter but it doesn’t work well it jams and blocks when you use these or you have to make a much smaller coffee and same size ones fit so has to be these. Not great to be honest

Awful manufacturing Burrs.
The Mesh is burred and sharp on the edges, and doesn't appear to be round so doesn't fit in my portafilter properly. one does and one doesn't and you can see where it's longer, but they are both sharp and made very cheap. unable to use.Returned.

Fantastic!
I bought this for two reasons:- The shower in my Sage Barista Express isn't exactly even so this helps distribute the water across my puck for a better even extraction.- I always hate when the puck drains and creates a vacuum so gets stuck to the shower. This makes cleanup a LOT easier and faster.The pack came with two but you only will ever need one really. I gifted my spare to a friend with the same machine. He's just as delighted as I am :-)

Does a very good job!
Fits perfectly in IMS basket, does exactly the same thing at the same quality as the expensive ones. Can’t recommend them enough!

Great price for TWO quality screens!
The media could not be loaded. These were an excellent value and fit perfectly into my 51mm portafilter. They don’t have a name brand printed on them, but they function just the same. Easy to wash off and use again. They help provide even distribution of the water across the grinds and help keep my espresso machine nice and clean. My shots have been pulling smooth and tasting great.

c'est un accessoire indispensable vu son prix, il améliore l'extraction et protège le groupe du café qui est aspiré après chaque extraction et qui bloque les conduites. pour le prix ça vaut le coup
