Welsh excitement
Enjoyed this book immensely. At the end I could not believe that two sisters could have so much excitement along with years and heartache, but, that is what makes a good story easy to read and not waiting for next part of the saga

Romantic Fiction
A wonderful beginning of a family saga by Grace Thompson. The Owen sisters have had dreams but as their lives take various twists and turns they say goodbye to many of these dreams. Lots of interesting characters some of whom are loveable others you want to shout out. Thanks to Grace and her publisher.

Good feel for the 1930's era
I enjoyed this read as it took me back into the times of my grandparents' youth, and gave a very good feel for the 1930's era. However, I felt disappointed at the end as there were too many unanswered questions. I have now noticed that there is a sequel book which no doubt continues the story, but I haven't bought it yet as I felt ready for a change.

Review
Easy to read. Quite a nice book to keep the reader interested. Could have had a happier ending to finish off.

most enjoyable
I loved the strong characters and the companionship and love they accomplished under dire circumstances and the gift of life’s joys
