2771-20 M18 Transfer Pump

This transfer pump was purchased for occasional use. It was first used for emptying toilet tanks, when the gaskets were going bad. It sucked out the water so fast, I was shocked. Just a few seconds were that was required to pump out several quarts of water. I prefer battery-powered devices when working around water. It is very effective and surprisingly quiet for the amount of power. I bought a spare impeller, because it is not clear how long it will last if the water being pumped is full of rust particles or other debris. I have not found this to be a problem. Strongly recommended device if you have Milwaukee batteries and chargers.

I bought this to make aquarium water changes easier. It sure does. It takes maybe 8 minutes to pump.out half the water in a 100 gallon tank. Of course it makes quicker work on the 50g and 35g tanks. The pump does have a whine to it but it is not awful and is not loud enough to scare the cat. I have a new 8ah battery and it looks like it could fit a 12 but I cannot vouch for that. I appreciate that the hose fittings are metal. The pump is self-priming which was a must have feature for me. This saves my back and am very happy with the purchase

This is probably one of the best pumps I've ever bought. I use it regularly for diesel, but I've also used it for hydraulic fluid,engine oil, Coolant, pretty much anything you can think of and it works flawlessly.

We do humanitarian mission work in the jungles of Central America, where there is no electricity or running water—just the river. Every evening, we rely on bucket showers, but hauling water from the river to our camp 300 feet away has always been a challenge. That changed when we purchased these Milwaukee pumps! They have been a tremendous blessing, making it so much easier to bring water to our site. They work great, are reliable, and have saved us so much time and effort. If you need a powerful and efficient pump, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

This transfer pump is excellent. My sump pump died and I used it to pump water from the basin to my laundry sink. Unfortunately, I didn't think of this until after I got water in my basement (carpet & rugs wet and an inch or two of standing water in the laundry area only [lowest point in the basement]. I used an M18 8.0 battery with the unit and the pump ran for 90 minutes continuously. Impressive. I've also used the pump when cutting a concrete slab and there was no water source on site so I had to bring in my own water source and connect the temporary water source with the concrete saw using the Milwaukee transfer pump. I like this unit alot.

It’s great pump… when it works. I have had two of them and they both have had to be sent out for warranty repairs. I have two. The first one worked great until it didn’t. It worked properly in the AM and just quit in the PM. I sent it out for repair but l had come to rely on it so much that l bought a second as a replacement. The first one was returned to me working properly but then the SECOND one quit! I sent it out and it was returned in proper working order. Odd. Hence only four stars. My troubles notwithstanding, it’s a great, very useful tool.

One of my favorite tools lately has been my transfer pump. I’m using it to move water from the pond to keep 60 newly planted junipers alive until I get the irrigation system finished. Setup is simple: a two-stage filter with a suction hose on the intake and a 50’ discharge hose on the outflow. The lift is about 6’, and a 5.0Ah 18V battery gives me roughly 37 minutes of run time at 8GPM.

Well lets just say it has without any effort at all a 25' Lift It does use a lot of battery power - which is its only fault - But then again look at what it is doing. I find the 12amp M18 Battery works best with it - the lower Amp Batteries you have to change to frequently When you do change them the pump re-primes within a second or two. When you set it up with a dry hose @ 25' Dead Rise it will take about 3 seconds to self prime and pump This will also pump through 30' of exit host without any issue at all. So I find it exceeds all my needs

Use it to pump different kinds of oil. Works great. Pumped over 300ltrs of hydraulic on 1 battery
