I have thick curly hair and this products cleans my hair and scalp. My hair is soft and dandruff free.

I am a fan of shampoo bars and my hair adjusts just fine, no issues. But this one isnt anything special. I love the bar soaps from this company but this bar was nothing special. I would choose liquid castile soap instead of this. It doesnt last long, as I have long thick hair and after only three uses the bar is almost half of what it was. It takes longer than other bars Ive used to lather and for it to apply to my hair. Because of how thick my hair is, I need to be really sure the product reaches my entire scalp. This isnt very good for my hair type i suppose. It also feels like it doesnt rinse out well, and of course, as with most natural shampoo, it has no detangling or softening properties. So after rinsing, my hair is super tangled and feels tacky. I am never sure if i rinsed it all out as I cant get my fingers through my hair, which is not curly at all. Massaging my scalp before I use conditioner just makes more tangles. So, yeah, i wont repurchase and would not recommend for long or thick hair.
