Everything about this atmospheric school & the study of cryptozoology, & all the mythical creatures, plus Sorceline herself..so many things about her..are all just so fascinating, intriguing, & gripping. I love the secrets we discover about her, along WITH her that she didn't even know. Great cast of side characters as well. Can't wait for the next one. Highly recommend. I bought books for a 13-year-old teenage girl as a gift. The illustration is beautiful.

My granddaughter enjoyed reading this book over and over again! The art is beautiful and the story is rich. Recommended for any child (or fantasy-loving adult) that gravitates towards mystery. The reason I didn't give this book a full five star rating is because the meaning behind the land Sorceline travels to is hard to understand. Otherwise the story has a memorable presence.

For 10 years old. Magic

Sorceline is a wonderful dark and mystical with stunning artworks which was originally written in French. Not only do we learn about cryptology but there is a mystery which needs to be solved. I did like Sorceline as a Main Character and having strong side characters which help to make this story such a quick, fun and atmospheric read.For all the above reasons Sorceline receives 4 stars
