Eyeglasses Repair Kit

My glasses come unscrewed from time-to-time and this kit was a lifesaver. The screwdrivers were easy enough to use and the magnifying glass was helpful. The only thing that would make using it even easier would be if it came with some kind of clamps you could use to hold your glasses in place while you work on them but then the kit wouldn't be as compact as it is.I carry it around in my art case since buying it and it has been really useful. The price and prompt shipment made this one of the more attractive kits I looked at as far as utility / cost was concerned.

It's great to have such a nice little set hanging around--I've used this on more than one occasion to repair my glasses when they're coming apart. It has every screw that you could possibly need to fix any type of glasses, and even small electronics! I would definitely suggest this to anyone with glasses, particularly if you don't already have something and need a good quality catch-all set.

This item was exactly what I wanted and needed. Just the right tools to perform the task. As a bonus I get a cleaning cloth and magnifier. My only complaint is the case doesn't open as easily as I would like. The top doesn't pivot well on the hinge. I am working past that but that's the only thing keeping it from a 5 star review.

I bought this to replace a nose pad on my glasses that had fallen off. It wasn't the easiest job in the world, but it worked, There was a little rough bump on the edge of pad I had to remove with a pair of nail clippers for comfort purposes. It beats taking my glasses in for repair though.One thing I thought was odd was that this kit comes with a little plastic magnifier. I guess it's for inspecting one's work afterwards, but I thought it was kind of useless myself.

I wasn't happy with the kit. I wanted to be able to tighten my frames but wasn't able to use the kit to do so. Given that was the entire reason I ordered the kit, I am not able to offer a higher recommendation.Though I want to stress the kit wasn't a bad kit I suspect if one wanted to do something else they may have liked it. It just didn't work for me.Thanks and best of luck.

I went looking for a kit after the bow came off my glasses. I used this kit as soon as it came and it worked well for me. There are at least 3 sizes of screws included and some nose pads. There are also 3 tiny screwdrivers - everything you need to fix your eyeglasses. It will come in handy.

seems nice till you realize that the screwdrivers are terrible, wouldn't work for my glasses. the screws which are why I bought the kit are entirely too few (11 in total) amounting to about 1 cent worth of screws. also the cloth inside and the pads are all very cheap. This looks like a 99 cent store item that has been marked up to $5 and I wanted an actual $5 eyeglass repair kit.

We only had this item for 24 hours when we used it for the first time. Seems we are always helping students tighten a screw on their eyeglasses. We also ordered a supply of jewelers' screws to go with this repair kit. Now we are all set to make repairs.
