Favorite Fall Book
My new favorite Fall book!!! I teach preschool and I just adored this book!! I love the flow of words and the rhythm of the book. It was adorable. The toe wigglin' out of his sock. Added fun for anyone who knows anything about square dancing too. But even without that knowledge, the illustrations and musical words will take you into the barn for the dance. Loved it!!

A Family Favorite for Two Generations
Our kids loved this book and now their kids love it too. The poetry is so well done it is like a song. The illustrations are whimsical and you find something new to see each time you read the book. Love this illustrator!

great book. great service
The book arrived in perfect shape. The delivery was fast. It's a fun book to "read" to your child and you can say more or less depending on your child's attention span.

The magic of Fall.
One of my all time favorite Fall children's books. I purchased for my granddaughter. The words of this beautiful book just dance off my tongue as I read it aloud. Although the pictures are a bit dark, the words lift off the page in magical fashion.

Love the way the author uses midwest vernacular to tell ...
Read this book to my girls when they were little...so much so that the book fell apart from use! So I bought this new copy to read to my 6 grandsons. Love the way the author uses midwest vernacular to tell the story and also the way the moonlight is so believably illustrated. Enchanting! Has been our long-time farm family favorite!!!

How I Became a Grandmother
"Barn Dance" is a read-aloud book, made for uniting reader and listener. When we first discovered it in out family, I was reading it to my two oldest grandsons--then three and six. Their mother, an elementary school teacher, began to share it with them in my absence; but they shouted, "No! Mumby reads that to us." They are now twenty-two and twenty-five; but we are still bonded, thanks to this wonderful book. (And, yes, they are still both Skinny Kids)
