Amazon Basics Plastic Storage Containers with Secure Latching Lids, Stackable Organization Bins, Clear/Grey, 12 Quart, Set of 6

These are handy for organizing smaller items.They arrived with one broken handle and the seller sent a new one right away.

I am using these for organizing all my "little stuff" - mostly art supplies & craft supplies. (but also socks in my bureau!). They fit in the kit cabinets I got to be able to have things in drawers instead of rack shelves. Lid goes on easily, strong enough for heavier items - such as hand tools (used 3 of them for that!) and can stack several high in the drawers. Took me a while to find the right size and these were perfect for my needs. I like that they are clear so I don't have to take the lid off and I am very happy being able to get more organized!!

I recently purchased these bins, and overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. The bins work great and stack nicely, making them perfect for organizing my space efficiently.The design is well-thought-out, and the secure latching lids work well to ensure that the contents remain safe and dust-free. The bins are sturdy and durable, about the size of a small shoe box, which makes them ideal for carrying around.However, I did encounter an issue with my order. Unfortunately, one of the bins arrived with a broken handle, and I was disappointed to find that there's no simple way to get a single replacement handle for this pack of 10 bins. It was too inconvenient to return and replace. Additionally, Amazon has an error on their end in my account that shows the product as lost, even though I have received it. Shrug.This was a minor setback, but it did affect my overall experience. I am still satisfied with the product and would recommend it to others looking for a reliable storage solution. If Amazon could improve the process for replacing individual parts, this would be a five-star product.

I've found that buying small and medium storage bins is a reasonable experience with Amazon. But consistently when I've bought larger bins, at least a third of them arrive broken. I don't know if its poor packaging or people in shipping feel that the lightness of the box equates to something of low value and thus low handling consideration.In one instance all of them were broken because a fork of a fork lift shot through the box breaking all of them. In this situation, I felt it had been a long while since I last bought storage bins greater than or equal to 25 quarts and the issues with shipping has to have been solved. Nope... still a problem.Its a shame too because these are pretty nice bins if you ignore the shattered one and the one with a handle totally sheared off. They stack well, they are reasonably sturdy and I suspect that they would be able to safeguard a significant amount of items. Their latch works well and holds the lid on tightly. But how well this works in the long run I will never fully know because the 3 (out of 6) bins that aren't damaged won't be used by me as they are all being returned. One was completely missing so there were only 5 in the box. The later is befuddling.To put this review into context so you don't think I'm a disgruntled customer grousing about minor things, I am an Amazon Vine reviewer and have over 150 posted reviews. I usually post reviews for items I feel deserve 3 or more stars. I rarely post a negative review because the absence of reviews is a statement in itself. When I do post a negative review it is because there is a safety concern about that product and it would be wrong to not warn others of the potential danger. And recently I purchased 12 quart and 3 quart bins. They worked well, were designed much like this (Amazon Basics line) and I am using them now.So while these are nice bins, I caution anyone considering buying them that they may not all arrive intact. So far of the 12 I've bought in this size, only 3 arrived intact.

The boxes themselves are solid and can hold a surprising amount. The lids, though, are a different story. Flimsy at best, and the so-called “locks” are more like polite suggestions — they pop off constantly and don’t have the strength to actually keep the lid secure. They worked fine for storing lighter items, but if you’re planning to use them for anything remotely heavy, you might want to keep shopping. Great potential… just needed stronger lids to live up to it.

The perfect size stackable storage containers for cabinets, closets, or drawers under the sink. They fit so much in them & don't take up much space. I do recommend labeling them. It makes for quick finding, bc the lid isn't clear. But I rather like it grey. The nosey, busy bodies can't scope out what you own, & steal it later. They are sturdy, but I wouldn't put a 90lb Bully in it. I've got them pretty heavy without issue, but I hold it from the bottom. I've bought several containers I'm extremely pleased with. You might notice them in the picture I post. The picture is just one of many places I use them.

I bought these to organize my garage. They store small parts well and it is easy to store these on a shelf. The price is right!
