Acer 80 cm (32 inches) I Series HD Ready Android Smart LED TV AR32AR2841HDFL (Black)

I was initially very skeptical to buy a TV at this price point I wanted to go for LG or Samsung....Sony being too expensive. I wanted something for my bedroom to also connect to my xbox one. ( having the big Sony connected to my Xbox series x already in the living room). So overall I am very surprised this tv exceeded expectations ..let's start with the below aspects. 1. Design and build - the build is plastic nothing extraordinary there but the design is good it has very thin bezels so that is fantastic. 2. Connectivity and ports - It has 3 hdmi and other standard stuff. It has EARC support too at this price point which is amazing. So no complaints here. 3. Remote - is nothing extraordinary made of plastic but is built decently doesn't look very cheap but doesn't look premium .....is apt for the price paid. Comes with Google assistant mic on the remote. 4. Picture quality- for me this is where I was really surprised. The quality is excellent for this price. I. Black levels are not bad at all for the panel. Note backlight bleeding is there blooming is quiet less. But backlight bleeding is expected although its not very bad. II. Viewing angles are good i am unsure but this does look like an ips panel as opposed to VA panel. III. Color reproduction is very good. It doesn't pop but is natural and the colors are pleasant to the eye. It is overall good for the price point. IV. Video upscaling to 4k is ok..nothing extraordinary but for the price does the job well. V. HDR performance is quiet good for the price point. It doesn't have hlg or hdr10 plus or Dolby vision ...it has hdr 10 and Netflix hdr looks quiet good. The overall brightness level is not bad VI. Motion blur is actually not bad for the price point....the tv does a good job of controlling the blur. VII. Gaming - the gaming is quiet good the input lag is quiet less and the best part it supports hdr 10 for gaming. Not hlg but hdr10 and that's good. Which means games that support native hdr will play it and it upscales games ( not native but signal) to near 4k. 5. Sound quality - you have to tweak the setting and the equalizer to get more out of it. Once you do it the sound quality is decent not fantastic but above average. 6. Software- it runs Android 11 and not Google tv. But the software is decent ...it has 2 gb ram and 16gb storage and the software is decent its not super fast but not slow either. Overall my worry is only about after sales service. Remember this is not made by Acer Taiwan but manufactured in India by indkal company I guess using acer branding. Acer doesn't give any other of their proprietary software from laptops or monitors in this. However I am quiet happy so far with the tv. My suggestion if you are on a tight budget go for it.

About the TV - Wonderful --------------------------------------------------------------- Probably the best TV in this price range (INR13000). Good - Google interface, loaded with features, lightweight, 55 watt power consumption, stable design Average - Sound and Picture quality is quite good but if you compare it with premium brands then obviously not that good. Features - Most of the streaming apps available and compatible - You can connect with WiFi, LAN Cable, HDMI, Set top box, Laptop, USB, Gaming console, Old dish cable, and direct TV antenna as well - Built in chromecast to cast any compatible app directly from phone to TV over same WiFi network Ways to connect phone - 1. Via cast feature on mobile apps - no password needed only need to be on the same WiFi network 2. Via chromecast app - project only selected media (pics, videos) or entire phone screen Ways to connect PC/Laptop - 1. Windows cast option - project the entire laptop screen on TV using windows cast option ( need to be connected on same WiFi network 2. Via HDMI cable About the Amazon installation service - Awful ------------------------------------------------------- 1. The technician brought a cheap hanging hook that had MRP INR116 on it and asked for INR499 for it without any receipt. He kept telling that it was not for sale and company had sent this specially. However, it clearly had MRP mentioned on it 2. I went to market and bought a much better cabinet for just INR200 and for installation of that as well, technician was really adamant to drill the two required holes on top. He just drilled one on top and one on bottom and kept all the other spare screws ( which I had bought ) with him. After about half an hour of arguments, he finally drilled the other required holes. And for all this, he kept cussing me that I wasted his time. There was no assistance from the person who represented the service agency as well. This whole process took me two hours to complete that too with lots of arguments. This was the worst installation experience in my life so far. Bottomline - Please do not avail the 'so called free' installation service from Amazon. It is just a scam. Instead call the acer support. They will do the job much better.

Great product from Acer brand. I got this product @23k, it’s really worth the money. Great picture quality and sound quality. 4K resolution is upto the mark, no comments. Screen sharing is and connectivity is too fast. But I have experienced slight lag when I watch movies through screen cast option need to check one more time and I will update you also I need to check the Bluetooth connectivity. Tv installation service was quite good but you need to pay the wall mount unit amount because Acer is not providing the wall mount unit with the tv. It will cost around 450 to 1200 based on the wall mount model. Picture stabilisation wonderful. With this price range Acer 43 inch tv is great.
