GAMMA RAY OPTICS Blue Light Blocking Glasses Orange Tint

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and fit of this glasses. Prescription is spot on and they do work well at blocking light and keeping your eyes from hurting after a few hours in front of a screen.

These orange-tinted reading glasses are great for reading text on your device in the evening, before going to sleep. I never end up using these for long stretches of time, because I get sleepy quickly, as I should!Of course, if you want to see correct colors on your device, you'll want clear lenses; but the trade-off is that clear and yellow-tinted blue-light blocking glasses definitely do not cover as much range of blue light. It seems to be a trade-off between eye-health and color shift.

So far I love these glasses. When I put them on I don't feel a huge difference, but the moment I take them off my eyes feel how terrible all the artificial lighting is at noght. I only gave it 4 stars because I feel the picture was dishonest. The lenses are not as amber coloured as pictured. Probably Photoshopped to look that way. Otherwise a properly priced yellow lensed set of glasses WITH a hard case.

I was really skeptical about purchasing these blue light blocking glasses. However, based on the great price, I decided to try them out. Let me tell you, I have been wearing them every night since I got them. I absolutely love them and because I have issues falling asleep and staying asleep, these glasses really helped me to do just that. I use them when I am using my cell phone or computer, as well as walking around the house in the evening. As soon as the sun goes down, I put them on my face. My husband thinks I look funny, but I really don't care. They have really been helpful in my sleep issues. They fit great on my face and although the frame is a tad thick, I don't mind. I recommend these glasses.

I got these because there the cheapest ones I could find that would actually do the job of blocking out the blue light from 3ds since I like playing it at night and in the dark. At first yes, after like 15 mins I would feel dizzy as hell....but it goes away after like the 2nd and 3rd time using them. Overall there great! But yeaa the material is crap so be extra careful but they work!! No more eye strain at night from playing pokemon

I have other pairs of blue-light blocking glasses, some with magnification, one other without, and one that fits over regular glasses.Without exception, they all change the colors projected from blue-light emitting appliances--but none is as dramatic as this one. Purple becomes brown, blue becomes green, people look as if they have acute liver disease, skies look unnatural--nothing is even close to reality. Needless to say, white is yellow.I've paid good money for my smart tv and my computer monitor but I want to protect my eyes. I don't mind minor distortion but this attempt to save money has certainly backfired on me. In addition, the glasses aren't particularly sturdy. They are on the loose side, but they fit comfortably. The image itself isn't distorted but the colors sure are.I cannot recommend it and will pay a bit more for better quality.
