Gonna be honest, I bought this to recreate the cat gif where the tabby gets a head massage. I have a girl who loves getting her ears skritched, so I thought this would be perfect for her.She was terrified of it. I'm not sure why, it's not that noisy, but she Did Not Like, and she pulled away fast if I put it near her head. She would tolerate it on her body for a little longer, but thirty seconds was about her limit before she left the room.The boys were a little more compliant, but neither of them liked it, and Fiyero made it very clear he was only tolerating it because he liked me, but it was very quickly annoying him.As a human, however, I enjoyed this little scalp massager. I thought it gave a nice headrub, and a decent rub along my arms, neck, or back. (My mother, however, did not like it at all. Your mileage may vary?)

My husband loves this head massager. He says it feels great. It works for a good amount of time before it needs to be recharged. It's easy to use and helps to ease headaches. I don't love the feeling of it over my long hair, but I got it for my husband and he's very happy with it.

This little massager is really cute and very well made. I was surprised at the great quality and nice packaging. It didn't take long to charge. It's easy to use and hold. I was afraid it would get stuck in my long hair or stick to it, but it doesn't. It feels great on your head, neck, arms, back, etc. Everyone in my family is enjoying it. I'm using this in hopes of increasing hair growth, preventing hair loss, and promoting overall scalp health. It's too soon for me to say how effective scalp massages are for hair growth, because almost any hair-growth intervention will take several months to start showing results. But what I can say, is that this is a high quality scalp massager, it works amazingly well, and provides such a relaxing and therapeutic scalp massage.I got this as an upgrade from my manual scalp massager, and it's a game changer. It massages at just the right intensity. Not too hard, but firm enough that it is actually doing something to promote circulation and blood flow to the scalp. I'm using a combination of rosemary oil and minoxidil on my scalp. I put on a few drops and then use the massager for 2-3 minutes to ensure that the oils thoroughly reach my scalp.I also really like that this is waterproof. You can just wash it off with some shampoo or soap if it gets oily after a few uses. You could use it in the shower, but I keep it by my bed and just use it for a few minutes every night before I sleep. The battery also lasts a really long time, I can typically go 1-2 weeks without needing to recharge it.Just be careful sticking your fingers in it. The massage heads move with a lot of pressure, I have pinched my fingers by foolishly sticking them in it before. But it doesn't pinch my scalp or pull or tangle my hair. It just gives a great scalp massage with a fraction of the effort. Really the only way this would be better is if it were completely hands free.
