Bought this book for my kiddo since she loves to draw but I ended up loving it as well. So much fun to learn to draw these. I use these on cards, envelopes, present tags

I have several of Rachel Goldstein's books, which I buy for my grandchildren. Although I did buy one of the Cool Things books for myself and eventually passed it down to my granddaughter. I just received what I believe is her latest book. It is about how to draw those little Kawaii anime characters. They are cute little animals. They are relatively simple and pretty easy to draw. I gave it to my younger granddaughter yesterday. She loves it! She has already drawn a couple of the characters. She tells me they are a little easier to draw than the projects in her other books. Rachel Goldstein's learn to draw books are always great. Her step by step instructions are easy for youngsters to follow. I highly recommend them. Even if your youngster is not a fan of these anime characters I believe they will enjoy drawing them.

I love how easy the things are to draw. But I got the e-version and it’s hard when I want to draw a specific thing and there isn’t an index in the front telling me the pages.

super kawaii..... love this book it is so cute.. a lot of fun just chilling out and making these little doodles.. i am not sure a small child could sit there and make these at first they appear super easy but they really are not.. they require some ability and it might frustrate someone if it doesn't come out the way it is shown.. i think you have to have some artistic value to complete these cute little doodles.. maybe i am wrong.. my friend tried to do a few and was not happy when she could not draw some of the doodles.. i thought she did okay but they did not look exactly like the picture shown but everyone is different.. either way it is a cute book with a lot to offer..

I love this book. I recently found out about kawaii and can't get enough of it. This book makes it very easy to draw all my own characters and animals in the kawaii style. It is rather long too - it has entertained me for hours and I am only half way done. Although it is marketed for kids I am an adult and love it!

Just got the book in the mail and my daughters already stole it. They couldn't wait - they and the neighbor girls use these books to draw the cutest comics. Love how this one includes some sample pages from other books ... cool

My boys (9 and 11) live this book (we actually ended up buying ALL games f the books this company offers).

My 7 year old daughter loves to draw. I got this for her and she’s been extremely busy with it. The drawing directions are easy to follow and really cute.

Brilliant book! I started painting rocks and as a person who can't draw, this book has turned me into somewhat of an artist. The pictures have the perfect number of steps in order to make the drawings as simple as possible to follow. It's great for me as an adult, but even my 6 year old is able to copy pictures from the book and paint them onto rocks also. I would definitely recommend and have in fact just also purchased other books from this range as I've successfully drawn/painted everything within this one!

My daughter loves to draw and I know she will love this book. Large enough pictures, and has easy to follow steps for each drawing.
