Sienna Plein Air Canvas/Panel Holder (CT-PS-030)

After making a few I decided to buy one because it looks more professional than my homemade ones. Very happy with it. Sturdy and easy to use. Use it weekly when I paint out my studio.

This is a beautiful and well crafted portable easel, attached to a light tripod, it makes an easy set up for indoor or outdoor painting. Very affordable and well worth the price . It can be carried to workshops and can be used in open studio sessions where there is always a shortage of space and easels. Very compact and easy to fit into a backpack.it’s easy to attach to a tripod and it’s a winner!

I bought this because I have started to paint on thinner boards (using oils and cwm). My more traditional easel did not do a great job of holding this type of support. This easel is highly adjustable and has rubber grips on the top and bottom to keep the board in place. My old easel just allowed the boards to slide around and wobble. This product is worth every penny even with the added cost of a tripod (it is also wonderful for the intended function as a plein air easel).

Set up on tripod was very easy. Canvas holder is light weight, sturdy and holds different sizes of canvases securely.

Great product. Excellent shipping and packaging. No real complaints other than I think it is a tad pricey but I am the thriftiest of all New England Yankees! I probably could NOT make it myself for the price so, it's good deal! The bottom line is it got me out there painting "en plein air".

I would not give this as a gift unless you plan to also gift the rest of the set up as they all go together. This is not a light weight set up. However, it is great for plein air work if you are not carrying it very far.
