This is a very useful game guide

After finding more extensive walkthroughs online I regretted spending the money on this book. Could have bought a game. It is a very well done, glossy book. There are maps and explainations of weapons etc. The game is fantastic and this is a great collectable companion. However. It's not necessary in playing the game. As I mentioned before. You can get walkthrough and other information on the web.

I had paid 25 cents for the guide with the DVD. Now the God of war guide is supposed to come with a DVD because it's a walkthrough of the first game. And it also has extras and the bonus suits. And plus i have to say that this book is going to be needed because i kept on dying in the one part plus it also shows the location of the gorgon eyes and pheinox feathers so this prima guide is money worth spent.

I ordered this new direct from amazon because of the great ratings on the included DVD, however, after an extremely long wait, the DVD wasn't included with the guide, so I ordered a replacement copy, same problem! I ended up buying a used one because amazon couldn't supply it. At least they offered me a refund and return postage. Overall a great guide if you can find one with the DVD.

The book was helpful to find my way around and show what I should do first. It even helped me learn how to find hidden chests and how to beat each of the bosses. I did not expect to have a DVD go with it, I'll watch it and see if it's helpful too.

Good game

Has all the information about the game,also has very helpful tips that will help you to improve your skills as the God of War when you play it harder difficulties, the art is amazing (one of the main reasons why bought it), I really recommend this guide.

日本版が2005.11に発売予定のPS2洋ゲーのガイドブックです。ガマンできずに洋書であるにもかかわらず手を出してしまいました！30×20(cm)ぐらいの結構大きめサイズ☆期待していた設定絵・イラストが50Pほど載っています。あとはアクションの操作説明、ステージマップ/攻略、敵のステータス等、普通に攻略がしてある…みたいです。(英語なので読めない)で、まあこんなもんかと思って最終ページ…？やや！これはDVD!!おお!うちのPS2でも再生できるのか…？!…動いた、動いたー!ハゲが暴れてるよー！！感激！…え？!うそ…!!…何これー!!!!…ふー。体験版ではありませんが、見応え十分の内容。ネタバレ的なものもあり。余計発売が待ち遠しくなったので☆5ガマンできない人は是非買って下さい！
