Natural Factors, Lactase Enzyme, Digestive Aid For Lactose and Dairy Intolerance, 60 Capsules

This is a great product. I am 71 an have developed a lactose intolerance in the last year. I was a little baffled at first as I thought this was unusual. Through trial an error finally tried this an surprise it worked. I am on my second bottle an doing very well. I recommend this product

I first tried one at my local grocery store that came mixed with cocoa but they were almost $3 dollars each. After I tested that this enzyme really allows me to eat dairy without stomachache after I decided to buy something that comes in bulk instead of individually so I save money. I have tried them at least 10 times and always great. I take them with water before going to get ice-cream. One has always been enough. Flavorless and easy to swallow with some water. I also like that it doesn’t have any extra ingredients that I don’t need like many other brands that mix it with many other vitamins and ingredients.

This is my favorite of the lactase enyzme medications. I prefer these to all others. I have suffered with lactose intolerance for ten years now so I have tried quite a few.

As another reviewer said, this works better than Lactaid and its generic store-brand counterparts. I think my lactose intolerance is a bit more severe than most others with LI, but for whatever reason Natural Factors Lactase Enzyme works much better for me--not completely curing the symptoms, but reducing them in a major way.I had a similarly good experience with a lactase product I'd bought in France called Alvityl Digest. I wonder if they're produced in a similar way.Here's my method of ingestion: Take 1 pill right before my first bite, and then take another pill in 10 minutes or so, and then another pill after 10-15 minutes, assuming it'll take me 40 minutes to finish eating something that has dairy ingredients.

I took a capsule directly before consuming cheese, and it still worked five hours later when I had more.Yay!

Good value for the money.

First , the two I purchased had poorly fitting lids. So bad that they do not stay closed so forget about traveling with them in their own bottle. Second, a large capsule form so you cannot split it for a slight boost if you think you need a bit more lactase during a meal. Third, a bit pricey. Fourth, it did work okay. Found a better caplet alternative, same 9,000 strength and a little more than 1/3 the cost per pill. Caplet was a bit smaller and easier to swallow than this large capsule. About a 3 yr expiration date on the alternative so you can stock up since prices are zooming!

This has been a blessing to me. I take 1 to 2 tablets before I eat anything that may contain milk. I don't have anymore nausea, abdominal cramps or vomiting after eating dairy. I am now about to eat my favorite foods and not stress about what will follow. Thank you!!!!!!
