Works great!!!
I'm really glad that my step mother showed me hers and I'm even happier now that I purchased one for 3 of my 5 dogs. It beats using a towel on 12 🐾 before letting my fur babies back inside of my house. The only problem is that the brushes inside tend to fall out while using it, therefore not all of the brushes are utilized for cleaning. I'm able to out the brushes back in the holes but this happens with each use.

Dog Gone Good
I have three dogs, a yard with plenty of exposed dirt, and a house I don't want getting filthy dirty. My pups are allowed inside the house, including rooms that feature light colored carpeting. As you might imagine, keeping the floors clean poses a real challenge, particularly when the ground is muddy! Before I got my Paw Plunger, the routine was to fill a plastic wash basin with warm, semi-soapy water, don rubber gloves, then take rags and painstakingly wipe all twelve paws off as best I could. This process typically had to be done two, three or even four times a day! The amount of effort involved and the number of dirty rags I had to launder was beyond ridiculous. Sometimes, I was able to dip their paws in the basin itself. Clearly, this was a far more effective technique, but my dogs absolutely hated me doing it. So that was a procedure I only resorted to when their paws were incredibly filthy.I knew there had to be a better method, and I often wondered about something kind of like the Paw Plunger. Thank Heavens someone not only wondered, but developed a product and included features that had never even crossed my mind! So, how good is the Paw Plunger, you are wondering. Well, in a word, it's FANTASTIC! To quote another reviewer, I wish I would have been using this long ago. Simply put, the Paw Plunger is quick, thorough, effective, self contained and well constructed. Also, It's as easy to use as one could ever hope for. Short of teaching your dogs how to bathe themselves, I don't think a better solution is going to come along. The brushes on the inside are very effective at removing dirt from the pads, between the pads, and even under their nails! Occasionally, there is a form of very fine sticky mud that doesn't want to come completely off, but 96% of the time, this is not the case. When I first started using it, I COULD NOT BELIEVE how much dirt was coming off my dogs paws! It made me realize that over the years, in spite of my best efforts, much of the dirt was getting left behind. Probably just long enough to end up in the carpets. :( Also, I have been especially surprised at how much fine sand and silt gets removed. Now, let me mention a couple of other things you might find helpful; First, I was unsure how the Medium Paw Plunger I purchased would work for me since my two German Shepherds and the Black Lab/English Pointer mix weigh 87, 65 and 53 pounds respectively. Answer: Perfectly. Yes, it is a closer fit for the large dog, but his paw still goes in without discomfort. For the smaller guy, I just work the Plunger a little closer to his pads to provide good scrubbing power. Next, a lot of people ask about dew claws. All my dogs have their dew claws and the only thing is with the Large male, I need to watch as his paw enters to avoid catching his dew claw. Once he is all the way in, there is no issue. And frankly, this is not a big deal as long as you are mindful of it. I also wondered if I would have to change the water between dogs. My experience has been that even when they are really dirty, the reservoir is large enough to let me wash all three dogs without transferring dirt from one to the next. But you definitely want to change between sessions. At least in my situation.I have found it helpful to spread a beach towel out for them to stand on. This keeps their dirty feet off the floor before I wash them, and helps further dry them after the wash and dry process is done. The flaps at the top do a marvelous job of preventing water from sloshing out. And afterwards, the Plunger is a snap to empty, rinse out and have ready for the next session. This little gadget does cost a few bucks, but it is SO worth it. After all, what is your inconvenience, laundering, and clean floors worth to you? :)Finally, do the dogs like it? Well, it kind of depends on their mood. Sometimes they stand there calm and quiet, while other times they do try to avoid bath time. Just like kids, huh? But I often give them a piece of a biscuit during the process and this has seemed to help them accept the new routine a lot better.Good luck and rest assured, there is now a better way! 💡🙂.

Size and weight
I love the concept but the larger size (75 lbs+) purchased was almost too heavy to lift with one hand once I filled it with water as the directions instructed. It was very hard to maneuver so I plan to return it and try the next size down.

Best paw washer but size difference is crazy!
This is the best paw washer on the market. It keeps the water contained and paw washing doesn’t turn into a big mess. I have a 13lb maltipoo and the petite seemed a little small and I was thinking maybe a size up would work. The options available are: petite, medium and large. The photo I attached is a medium. Lol.There is just no way. There needs to be a small size because the medium is absurd.

Great Dane Approved!
I am blown away by this product! I was fed up with the mud and dirt my Great Dane brought in the house during muddy seasons. Big dog=big problems. I was desperate and bought the Paw Plunger and after getting my pup used to it, it’s like night and day. It’s fast and efficient at cleaning each of his giant paws; I just wish it could cover his whole body and get the mud up his legs! It can get heavy and a little tricky to maneuver at times but well worth it. I highly recommend this!

High expectations
We have an 8 month old German Shepherd dog who we keep outside in our yard when we're not home. We use a towel to clean his paws before we bring him inside. I saw this paw plunger and thought it would be a much better method to clean his paws and easier than the towel. I ordered the large size and was very surprised to see how HUGE it was. Well, I had high expectations for this paw cleaner, but I didn't count on my dog not liking it at all. When we tried to use the paw plunger on him, he struggled to get just one of his paws inside. We tried using it a second time and he just wasn't having it. This seems like a really good idea, but our dog didn't think so.

Couldn't be easier unless the pup could use it without me!
Clyde, 6 month old boxer, loves to run in the mud and then run like a crazy animal through the house. This foot cleaner is so easy to use. Fill it up, put Clyde's foot in one a time and dry. It took a time or two to get used to holding the cup (it's kinda big so use the handle), keep him from licking the cup and dunking his feet. But now it's real easy. After using it about 6 times, he ran in the house and went right to the area where I rinse his feet. He doesn't mind me using it on him at all. The bristles are soft and the opening large enough for his feet. Emptying it is a breeze. Twist the top, empty and rinse. Best to empty in the toilet as the sink gets too dirty.I've decided to buy another one to keep in another part of the house. This product is fantastic!!!!

Initially very disappointing but with a little adaptation its grown on me.
Having read in some reviews that the fins at the top of the plunger are rather rigid, I did try shoving two fingers in and sure enough it was uncomfortable withdrawing them. The only way it was anywhere near comfy was by inserting my thumb alone, somewhat like Little Jack Horner.Still, I was willing to give Paw Plunger the benefit of the doubt and came the mucky weather, I'd prepared by getting a little suit for my Cavachon to limit how mucky she might get.I pushed a paw in but found I could neither move the plunger up and down, nor use a dipping action with the paw as the plastic fins were just too firm.Maybe with a sturdier dog this is easier but it felt like her leg was stuck and both the dog and I began to panic.I did manage to release the paw but decided we can't go through that worry each time so i sharpened a knife and have cut the plastic fin thing off entirely.I realise it was to help in squeezing surplus water from the paw and to prevent spillage, used with the lid, in transport. The brushes clean gently. I bought some inexpensive flannels to use for paw drying and I shall be happier just plunging and hand squeezing off the excess water then using the flannel for drying.Good idea but my dog's paws/legs arent perfectly rounded.I think the design should be reconsidered to use a soft rubber or silicone. The current one is far too stiff. In the circumstances I'm not best happy at how much this cost, either! After some pretty wet weather and hence muddy conditions I am using the Paw Plunger on a daily basis. I do not regret cutting off the fins and am just gently squeezing excess water from Tilly's paws.On a daily basis I just fill and empty from the top. I do unscrew the top occasionally to give the brushes and interior a good clean. Mud lurks down there. I would advise rubbing some petroleum jelly on the scew top though to prevent cross threading and make the inner easier to screw out.I do really like the concept just not, wholly, the execution.

Great in theory
My dog will surrender her front paws without a problem, maybe because her forelegs are straight. No matter how I try I’ve yet to do both hind legs. She needs to be stood but insists on trying to sit. The plunger is almost impossible to use horizontally and the ‘elbow or knee joint causes the dogs leg to go horizontal. As I said it’s great in theory but I’m back to the hosepipe

Large paw plunger
Brilliant love this works a treat on my sandy muddy puppy paws ! very large puppy I might add at 20 weeks and long curly fur . The lid is a bonus and stays attached by the link chain to plunger and handle helps support and steady when gripping plunger if need be. ...I have put my had in and checked brushes and to make sure paw hand is not caught on anything inside and found it to to be all soft bristle brushes ( minuscule version of car wash brushes ) very good product

Potentially dangerous
Does an amazing job with our Great Dane and rottie paws. BUT: remove the inner petals, they caused a laceration to one of their lower legs when removing the plunger from the paw. Only reason it's not got 5 stars.

Hope my comments are useful to others
I find this great for the dog but like other buyers I found the inner plastic not too brilliant, a bit of a panic when my dogs paw didn't come out of the cup very easily hence I have also cut that out so its just the brushes that come in contact with her paw, operates really well that way.
