Great economic alternative to the ridiculously spricy beauty blender branded sponges! The consistency of the bounce sponge is actually quite similar to that of the BB, but this one expands much more in water than the BB.. though honestly, I’m not an expert and don’t really know why that makes it different/better, but how much sponge blenders expand always seems to be a popular question so i figured I’d mention it!😋I ordered my first two about 6 weeks ago and have been alternating using my real techniques sponges, and my two bounce sponges- which one i use for wet application/foundation/creme blush/etc, the other for dry/ finishing powder/blending, plus wash them both after each use with ivory bar soap/water and silicone “brush” when necessary, and after 6 weeks with moderate to semi-heavy use both sponges still look neartly new and application is as smooth and lovely as it has been from day 1My only complaint is it’s a little hard to wash, with liquid soap the suds never seem to fully rinse out, with solid cleanser, i can’t seem to get all the makeup marks out but maybe just due to its light color

I have been using Beauty Blenders for years and love them, but they are so expensive and in order to keep replacing them like I should (because it's a sponge and they are magnets for all the things you want to keep off your face) I was spending a lot of money. I tried looking for alternatives but all the knock-offs were too dense.I ordered this one because it had decent reviews and I saw someone compare it to a Beauty Blender. It is AMAZING! I may actually love it more than the original. It's silkier than their foam and after wetting the sponge it more than doubles in size. I love this thing! It has just the right density and size and holds the moisture well. I'm a huge fan and I'm completely off Beauty Blenders now.

I was a dedicated beauty blender and real techniques sponge user but the real techniques sponge breaks down a little too easily and the Beauty Blender is $20....for a freaking sponge. It’s just not justifiable for me to spend that kind of money once a month or every other month but this is a great sponge. Blends really well. Expands to about double it’s size and the “squish” (lol) is perfect. It’s not dense at all and the real techniques almost is too dense after using this. I will be ordering more of these.

I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like this sponge! I ordered it because it is inexpensive and had good reviews but when it arrived, I didn't think I would like it. When I wet it, it definitely got bigger in size but was not as squishy as my Flower Beauty sponge or BeautyBlender. I tried it with my MAC Studio Fix Fluid and Physicians Formula Healthy foundation and both times, it worked beautifully! Blends matte and glowy foundations perfectly, doesn't absorb them and is quite large when wet so I was able to finish my base quickly. I did take off one star because when I washed it before using it the first time, I noticed a tear. That should not happen. I would recommend this and may buy another.

I don’t like this sponge! I’m sorry, it’s waaaaaay to porous! Too many holes, not dense enough. Leaves very distinct sponge marks when you “bounce” it across your face. Super dissatisfied and disappointed in this product. I’m glad I got it from Amazon and not the website itself, it’s $10.00 plus shipping on that site. The color is pretty and shape of it would be great if it was more dense, it soaks up so much product. Not good. It is possible I got a defective one but not willing to buy another to try again.

this blender is SUPER BOUNCY, as the name suggests. even when dry, it has a lot of bounce. i like the tapered side to get my under eyes and corners. i use the butt end of it to apply foundation. when damp it’s huge and covers a lot of area quickly.compared to real techniques beauty blender, it’s much softer and has more.. give?the reason i gave it 4 stars is because it’s almost too soft.. i feel like sometimes i have to go over with my real techniques to get it to completely blend out.i took comparison pics to compare it to the size and shape of the real techniques sponge.

I love this! I didn't think I'd ever go back to using a sponge. Last time was about 15 years ago... As a result, I've invested in a lot of brushes over the years. Having gone from foundation to bb creams and tinted moisturizers, I wanted a lighter application method and this little sponge does exactly what I need it to do.. Easy to wash, dries in 24 hours.. Does 'obviously' soak up some of the product, but the application is flawless, no streaks. My only advice is, try to wash this sponge every 2 weeks or so.. I've noticed that once too much product gets clogged in this, it starts to fleck little clumps of dried product onto the skin as you're applying makeup. Otherwise, this item is perfect. No complaints here.

Seems like it soaks up quite a bit of my makeup. However, it blends everything quickly, and I like a more natural foundation so it works for me. If you are needing more than a light/ medium coverage I would not purchase this product. Or maybe try it using it dry.
