The first Torro case I’ve ever not been delighted with.
I feel quite disappointed with this case, a surprising experience for me as for years Torro has been the first choice for every iPad and iPhone I’ve ever owned. About 6 in total. The appearance and quality of construction is everything I would expect, (though maybe my choice of red was a step too far in the direction of boldness)j but I don’t really understand why the design has changed from that for the brilliant Torro case for iPad mini 5 which is very protective without the, in my opinion, retrograde step of securing closure with elastic!I’m sure the squareness of the edges of the mini 6 mean that the frame that secures the device has to cover more of the edge than on older models, but the effect overall is, in my view, to rob the device of its uniqueness - a brilliant, but deceptively sleek design. The new cover gives the impression that the device is chunkier than the mini 5, when in fact it is slightly smaller. And the elastic actually interferes with the ease of access - the magnetic closure on the mini 5 case was secure enough for effective protection even if accidentally dropped, while being easy to open in a second. This new design is so much clunkier, a word I would never associate with these great devices. In fact there is no magnetic effect with the closure on this case: the screen is not switched off on closure, nor on as it is raised. And without the elastic strap, the cover is free to flap, and the device less effectively protected should it be dropped. As I often look at my iPad for relatively short periods as well as longer episodes, i find the removal and replacement of the elastic a bit of a pain. Yet if I don’t use the elastic the cover is not secured at all. Couldn’t magnets have been placed on the edge of the front flap to give at least a modicum of strap free closure as well as perhaps opening and shutting down the device?Of course, Torro offer an alternative, but that seems to me not to provide protection in the most vulnerable spots like the corners. In fact nowhere really except the front and rear. I debated going for that option, but in the end thought I would give this a try asBut I am seriously considering returning, either to try the other Torro option or to look elsewhere. A shame - the first Torro case I’ve not really loved.

iPad mini 6 works great!
Wanted some extra protection for the iPad as my 5 year old has started to draw and use it. This case provides ample protection even when being transported (biggest concern is dropping it outside by accident)iPad mini 6 fits in like a dream, is secure and everything works as it should. The magnet is not as strong for the pencil even though it attaches and there is nothing to keep the pencil there when connected. If you put the iPad in your bag, expect the pencil to detach. When it is connected it does charge and hold. For me, this is not a deal breaker as I put this down to a little more protection for the device it self and yes it hold and charges so it works. The only way I could have seen around this is a clip it self on the case which would have taken away from the look. Keep in mind the pencil last for decent time period on a short charge anyway.Over all this works perfectly for me, time will tell how long it lasts however based on previous products from this brand I expect at least 5 years before even considering a new one.

Sturdy as a case but NOT if have Apple Pen
The case is very sturdy as a protective case so if you don't/won't in future have an Apple pencil it is great. It is quite expensive compared to other cases but the quality is lovely. Note: The case doesn't trigger the self sleep/wake when opened or closed if that is something you'd like.I would have kept the case if I only wanted the protection, however, I have an Apple Pencil and it doesn't work properly with that (even though it says it will). It will allow the pencil to magnetically attach to the ipad but it does NOT allow it to charge... you have to remove the case and therefore the protection! For the price I would need it to charge the pencil also. I've ended up getting another case instead.

Awesome smelling leather but no sleep function
The media could not be loaded. After asking the community questions about the auto sleep function with this case on, I still can't see how it could work because of the two stitched pieces for viewing angles. It's a great case and smells superb so won't be sending back, I just wish it would auto sleep as advertised. Ps. I do have the function turned on before anyone asks and it is sat in the case properly

Lovely weekend case
This is a beautiful case with lovely detailing on the inside and stitching on the outside.Loads of protection for outdoor use and the standing positions are good enough for media viewing. Will mainly use for weekend when not bothered about pencil, whilst it does support wireless charging and the pencil attaches I would be worried about it being easily knocked offThis looks and feels great quality and seriously good value for money.
