Standard Process Inc.Canine Enteric Support - 110 Grams

I was using a different product, one I also reviewed quite highly, but after my old man doggie had his latest bout with a persistent infection and some more surgery, we needed something a bit stronger to help his gut. He had to be on 2 months of strong antibiotics of multiple kinds (sulfa and PCN) and that will tear up a gut and cause some very nasty business during his walk.So, the vet prescribed this and we love it even better than the former digestive enzymes. It was like he had a normal butt for once in his life! And it eased some hardness problems (sorry this is such a gross topic but if you're reading, you've probably got a similar issue with your pup) with my elderly female dog too.In short, this relieves problems on both ends of the spectrum and it does it immediately. We use half a scoop in their food, once per day, for each dog. Weight is right around 30 lbs. It costs significantly more at the vet, so we bought it from Amazon and it came fresh and ready to go. No differences that I can see.

My issue is not at all with the product. I think Standard Process products are an optimal product. Human, feline and canine.My issue is with tbe packaging!! Absolutely Ridiculous and Mindless and Unnecessary!This one product was in a box about the size of a large USPS priority box with about 2 1/2 ft of large bubble plastic bubble wrap around it.No Bueno people!!!!

This is best product, won’t use any other. I was at my daughters out of state. My dog ran into health issues, the Vet put her on this. Standard Process is the best.Powder form I love.

I use this product in conjunction with a pre/probiotic and have found that between the two, they absolutely support the digestive needs of my dog. He had numerous issues with his tummy as a growing puppy and for him, I firmly believe this helped with his turnaround. I was recommended this by my holistic vet as part of an overall food plan and he has been on this for about four months now. Bowzer's tummy improved within about a week on this food plan which included enteric support.

My fantastic 4 yo Lab mix has had chronic diarrhea/soft stools since I rescued her 2 1/2 yrs ago. This product combined with a dailey dose of Tylan powder controls about 90% of her symptoms. She is as happy and active as a normal dog. If you have a dog with similar symptoms, please discuss this product with your vet.
