Since we use this device my kids have no more open scratched bits on their legs. Within seconds the bit is neutralised. Works well for the entire family

This item broke down after 2 months of usage (I used it a few times). I could not understand how to complain or how to request a replacement

J’étais un peu sceptique à l’achat, mais je ne regrette pas. Dès qu’on sens la piqûre d’insecte, ou qu’une piqûre précédente vous démange, appliquer le produit sur la peau et vous sentirez le soulagement immédiat de ce petit appareil. J’ai l’habitude de faire des réactions allergiques au piqûre de moustique, et la, plus rien. Plus d’urticaire, plus de grosse bosses, le pied !

I was skeptical at first because all the sources on the biological action involved for the relief effects were commercial or commercial-sponsored sources. But I thought I'd give it a go and have been really pleased with the benefit. As a person who is prone to scratching itches from insect bites, this device has made a real difference in bringing comfort and practically eliminating my need to scratch. The light could be better as it doesn't much help with identifying the spot you're bitten. I think this leaves room for a better design but I'd rather have the light than not at all.

This thing is great. I wish I'd known about it long ago. I use it for mosquito bites, and I get my share of them since I don't like to coat myself in bug spray. The good: - it works! As it says in the instructions, it's best used immediately after a bite, but the wonderful thing about it is that it still provides itch relief (albeit temporary) for old bites. If you use it early enough, it can prevent the swelling (and itch). - I like this product way more than the Bug Bite Thing (that little suction/plunger device). The problem with the Bug Bite Thing is that you must use it very soon after being bitten. If you use it on a mosquito bite after your top layer of skin has already begun to heal, it just spreads the protein irritant under your skin and causes a much, much larger & unsightly welt. And, unfortunately, I usually cannot identify where, exactly, I've been bitten until it's too late. For that reason, my Bug Bite Thing largely collects dust in my medicine cabinet. - It heats up quickly. I thought it might take a bit of time for it to heat up and deliver a dose, but it functions in seconds. - it's FSA/HSA-eligible; that is, you can use your Flex/Health Spending Account to purchase it - it uses AAA batteries, not some weird coin/disc batteries, and they even include a couple batteries to get you started. - it's very small & portable. easily slips in your pocket. The not-so-good - there is pain involved. while you're pressing it against your skin for the 3 or 6 second treatment, it does have a bit of a stinging sensation (ironic, I know). it is unpleasant enough that I wouldn't use this on small children lest there be tears. I did spring for the model that has a built-in light, but I probably could've/should've just saved a few bucks and skipped it. The light isn't all that bright, but I guess it may be helpful if you're using this thing when it's dark outside (which I haven't done).
