Will the Low Down work with a Coleman 1 lb propane tank with adaptor (vertical only)?

THE MSR LowDown has only been tested/is only intended for use with MSR stoves. Also, using propane for your MSR stove is not recommended and using an adaper is also not recommended. Liability issues. MSR Customer Service

I lost the canister adapter for my whisperlite universal, will this work for my stove?

The MSR lowdown remote canister adapter is used with canister top stoves , like pocket rocket and the like. It is not adaptable to whisperlite universal stoves. I have both stoves. If you need the canister adapter for the universal stove, you need to contact MSR customer service and buy one. I did exactly that for my stoves.

Great stove stand but a bit heavy. Is there a titanium version of this product in the works?

Yes, it is very stable and the adjustment works great. Only problem with it is that because a lot of steel is used it's heavier than I'd like it to be. Is there any possibility of a slimmer and titanium version of this product?
