Installed in just min. a little teflon tape with it would have been nice

I purchased 2 sets of these restrictors. They work very well and are easy to install, but both sets had the colors incorrect. In one set, the green and the orange were swapped (orange was 2.0gpm and green was 2.2gpm). In the other set, the yellow and orange were swapped (orange was 1.8gpm and yellow was 2.2gpm). I have a flume water monitor so I was able to precisely measure flow rates and discovered the mix ups. If you do not have a water monitor, you can compare two manually by filling a bucket for 60secs and compare which restrictor color fills it more. for some shower head handles, you may also need to add an additional washer if it does not have deep enough threads.

I added this control valve In my shower in order to add another shower hose to wash my dog. When switching to the new shower hose the regular shower head shuts off. The doggy shower hose I purchased is about 8 feet long and the head at the end has a button to release the water. I can now rinse my dog and then suds her up without the water constantly running and getting me soaked. It is also made of metal and is heavy duty. The valve comes with rubber washers and also plumbers tape. It took me maybe 20 minutes to install. Definitely recommend

This is a very useful impractical water valve control if you have or want to adjust different flows in your showerhead. I use this because I want to adjust maximum flow when bathing my dog since I want to rinse them off effectively and we reduce the flow when I am taking my daily shower. I have used it for over a month without any problems or adjustability problems. Overall, I would definitely recommend if you are regularly or weekly adjusting water flow for different use.

Some valves still allow water to leak but this unit shuts off completely with no drips.
