Good set for the price point
The 13 Pairs Circular Knitting Needles, Interchangeable Knitting Needles Set with Extension Cable, Size from 2.75 to 10 mm. The size assortment will cover most of your needs unless you are doing something very fine and lacey. The needles tips are all smooth except for the largest sizes which have some marks on them but nothing that will catch on your yarn. The tips are pretty pointy but not as sharp as a lace tip. The cables are smooth, flexible and strong and have a slight bend on the metal end where the needles screw in. You can feel the difference in width where the needle tips screw onto the cable ends, especially on the larger sizes, and where the metal screw portion attaches to the cable wire itself but the sections are pretty smooth and don't feel like they will catch on your yarn except possibly if you are using a really delicate yarn. It may slow down the flow of your knitting a bit though. There are four cables of different lengths -13, 15 1/2, 17 1/2, 22 inches, two connectors that you can use to make longer lengths, two little wire tools to use to tighten the connections of the needle tips, cables, and connectors and a rubber disc to help you keep a good grip when you are tightening connections. The needle tips are engraved with the needle size in mm and there is a handy plastic needle size gauge that shows the US needle size and the mm size so you can convert the size as needed. It's also a ruler with inches on one side and mm on the other side. Everything slots neatly into the low profile zip up case that will easily fit into any work bag.The only two things I didn't like about the kit are 1} that there are no instructions for using the little tool to make sure you get tight connections when you attach the tips to the cable wires {after finger screwing the needle tip to the cable put the wire tool in the hole in the cable end and hold the needle tip with the rubber grip and screw them together as tightly as possible. Reverse this to take them apart.} and 2} the green plastic ends that you are supposed to be able to screw on to the end of a cable wire to make it like a very long single knitting needle are not threaded properly so they won't screw onto the cables at all. I'm only going to use this set as circular needles so that is just mildly annoying but poor quality control. This is a good basic set for everyone to use at a low price point and beginners can get a feel for using circular needles before they upgrade to a higher quality, perhaps wooden needle set.

Great Circular Knitting sets with good quality
I'm a beginning knitter, when I started to use it, I love this set with the needles and without any issue, I could easily attach and tighten the connectors, and was able to start knitting right away. They feel great and are easy to grip it in the hand and the colors are vibrant. There are no burrs or other imperfections on the needles and everything looks great to me. I think this is a good value for a beginning knitters, and is a gift set for anyone who wants it.Highly recommended!

The cable does not stay tight, lost sticjes
Dislikes would return if I could several times I had to stop and tighten the cable on 1 or both needles, then the last straw the cable came apart and I lost multiple stitches how sad

Pretty good knitting needles
The needles were packaged well, the cables don't kink, but they do come unscrewed a little too easily. The case is pretty nice, too. My wife is a big knitter and was happy with everything except needles not quite tightening enough even with the included tool.

Very useful set of knitting needles
This set include four cables of different lengths with 13 pairs of needle tips that screw onto the cables. It also has stoppers and extra replacement connecters, and the whole set comes in a nice, compact, bright colored case that fits right in your knitting bag or backpack. Here's what's great about interchangeable needle sets: you can change out the tips when you need to change needle size for shaping or ribbing, and you can manage with fewer needles. Storage is much easier than for 13 plus sets of needles of different lengths. The cost is very economical for this many needles. The problem with interchangeable needles is that the join between the cable and tips can catch yarn when it's not perfectly smooth, and the tips tend to get unattached to the cable. I have found this with every interchangeable needle set I've ever used, including quite pricey ones. You have to plan to t5ightent the connections fairly regularly. It's a trade-off.That said, this set works as well as any I've used. Especially for sizes I don't use very often, it's great to have so many choices in one set.The sizes of the needles are not standard and while the needles are clearly marked, they are labeled with some different system from the US method. Fortunately, there is a needle size gauge included so you can check the size of the needles instead of relying on the sizes given.Maybe not right for a gift, but I'm very glad to have this set!
