GOOD FOR DEMENTIA PATIENTS
This product is a life saver--my aunt was double dosing or skipping medications. With this automatic pill dispenser she now takes her meds only when they are dispensed with the machine. She cannot open it to take out pills. The alarm and light work perfectly and will not stop till she empties the compartment containing her pills. Works on batteries --since it's new I don't know how long they last. Not easy to travel with however as it is a large apparatus. Perfect for those in assisted living communities are those able to live by themselves. An App helps to easily set up the dispenser! Highly recommend it for those in need.

Piece of Junk
Does not work as advertised. Carousel does not turn correctly, the app and unit continuously lose connection, and the slots are too narrow for an average man to reach into to retrieve the pills. I am returning it. I don’t recommend this cheaply made Chinese product. Save your money and use your phone to set reminders. Buy a $10, 7 day pill container. It will serve you better!

Doesn't work like designed
This product does not work as you would expect it to. It's easy to reopen the pill box and the set up is difficult. The rings for daily dose selection is not the best. Numbered paper that isn't stabled in the pill box. Not worth it for safety and security. But could be ok for just separate placement of medications.

NO LOCK ON THE PILL COMPARTMENTS, Holds the 1st to the 28th
While this product is great for my 95 year old Mom, she can just flip the little lever and open the pillbox and all the pills spill everywhere. The only lock is on the batter compartment....seems a little strange. Bluetooth will onl work if you are pretty much in the same room. It only has 28 spaces to hold meds, dates got only to the 28th. (I thought with bluetooth, we could skip 29, 30 and 31 if need be) So, this gets a 3 star rating from me. I really need the lid to LOCK so she doesn't open the entire thing and spill all of the contents.EDIT: SELLER REFUNDED MY TOTAL PURCHASE

Life saver
If you or your loved one is forgetful and need to take medicines on a schedule…this is the most cost effective solution! The schedule is easy to set with the app and the alarm can be heard from a good distance away! Because it is NOT permanently mounted to the wall, it is perfect for travel.

False Advertisement. Overpriced. Keep looking.
Broke within the year; the motor stopped rotating. The only component that locks with a key is the battery compartment. The lid doesn't lock, it has a latch so it doesn't flop open when the box is tilted to turn off the alarm/dispense medication. Because of this issue, the person being dispensed the pills can open the lid, gaining full access to medication(s) and settings on the pill box. It's unclear if the person I bought this for had anything to do with the motor breaking because they "figured out" that the latch isn't locked and rotated the tray the wrong way.Set-up is more of a headache than it should be on the unit itself. I never bothered with the app. There are better options for less money.

Bought for dear friend
This is a great way to keep track of and dispense medication for anyone of any age if they are having to take a lot of medication our particular friend is on dialysis and can be hard on the memory so this is working great

Not as smart as they make it sound
This pill dispenser is no different from any other pill dispenser that rotates on a schedule and dispenses meds and cost $20 less. The phone app is useless as it is not connected to the pill dispenser except when you are 2 feet from it. The scheduler on the app is not connected to the pill box and works like a reminder set on the phone app. You also dont know if the pills were taken out or not. The lock on pill box is never locked and the lock is on the battery. So no security and anyone can take the meds out.
