I think it’s worth it
It’s a long roll and sturdy. I didn’t use it for its intended purpose but I used it to go under my lace wig and it works great to cover up the knots.

Doesn't stick well
I normally am not concerned by scars, I had a few small ones, but nothing major. Then this past summer I fell and broke my arm. It required majjor surgical intervention and no I have a scar that runs from the upper 1/3 of my forearm almost all the way to my shoulder. It's massive and while I could and will have to eventually get used to the way it looks, what I can't get over is the weird bumpy feeling and how sensitive it is to everything touching it. I can't stand to have anything touch it even my sleeves or a pillow when I rest my arm. I had read that silicone tape could possibly help healing move along faster and help to flatten out the bumps as well as provide a protective barrier that may help with desensitizing the scar area. So I bought some. I got several different types/brands. This is the 3rd I've tried so far and it's my least favorite. The biggest problem is it doesn't stick! I've had little to no problems getting the other brands to stay on my arm but this immediatly starts falling off my arm. I've tried on freshly cleaned dry, freshly cleaned wet, not so clean dry, no matter how my skin is this stuff just won't stick to it very long. Its got terrible adhesion! If I'm quick enough I can get it on and then put my arm immediately into a position on a pillow where its pressing it on. However even after keeping my arm somewhere resting for an hour this stuff immediately starts peeling off. Secondly this stuff is terrible to cut through, and third the tint to it may work for some skin shades but if you are pale like I am this does not blend nicely with skin at al. When its being held on it does feel nice and it's a tiny but thicker than the other two I've used which helps with desensitizing, at least still it starts falling off the arm.

Silicone tape is THE BEST for old and new scars
I've had several surgeries resulting in very long scars, so I think I've tried every silicone tape around at this point. I thought maybe it was an error or oversight that neither the description nor other reviews mentioned this tape had tear perforations - but no; it actually doesn't have them! So I'm taking a star off for that because I really love the ones that tear every 2". You need scissors for this strip. Otherwise, though, it works well. It sticks to clean, dry skin for days. (TIP: Put a wrap around it for the first few hours or overnight. That seems to help it adhere better. The strips I have on under compression for the first day always last longer than those that don't have that situation to start.)You *can* wash these strips. Peel off gently and was under cool water with a little mild soap. Rinse well and hang to dry. Then you can put them back on. They never stick as well after washing, but they usually stick well enough.Love that the color blends well with my skin, making the strips barely noticeable. They're super-flexible and comfortable. I forget I have them on! You can even swim and shower with them.I use silicone strips because they work - but it's a long term commitment. Plan on wearing 24/7 for six months or so. (I've gone as long as nine.) The scars heal flatter and faster and the color fades more quickly.

Good value silicone tape, easy to use
Silicone tape is great at helping reduce scars. I frequently injure or scratch myself when I go outdoors or when I'm gardening at home. I never really thought about using silicone tape for these until my friend suggested it. I took a look at my arms and noticed that I have quite a few small scars from previous scratches, so when I saw this tape roll of silicone sheets I decided to give it a shot. It's a single roll of a long strip of silicone tape. This is nice in that I can cut to size and use exactly what I need. The tape itself is easy to apply and peel off afterward. On initial testing, I didn't have any bad reactions or breakouts to the adhesive used so that's a good sign. Moving forward I feel like my scars may have flattened a little, but old scars are harder to change. I haven't injured myself recently given the weather has been too hot for me to go out, but I'll be sure to try it out when I have fresher wounds as well. I think it'll be more effective in managing newer scars compared to fixing older scars.

Very thin and has sticking power.
-Thin and sticky.-Easy to remove and restick.-Looks like skin and is not very noticeable.-Does good in water.-Suggested use schedule is clear and easy to follow.-Can be cut to fit smaller scars.-Wahae and reusable.-I ordered this for my daughter who has a bad allergy to nickel, she not only uses this after healing from a very bad rash but also to help protect her from things like naps or the metal buttons to protect her skin.
