I returned these because they didn't look like the picture on the web. The colored part is much splashier than pictured, so the placemats were not subtle enough for my tastes. The quality was nice though.

I bought these to use as mats for my cats' feeding and water dishes. They are very pretty and seem to be durable enough for this purpose. Time will tell if they hold up to this kind of use rather than as regular placemats. Fortunately, since they are reversible (slightly different design on each side, one with flower and the other with butterfly), I would imagine they'll be perfect. They are even prettier and more vibrant in person than in the picture. They have a more subtle, sophisticated look than many of the placemats I've seen offered, especially in vinyl.
