These work!
I’m not sure what the big deal is with the taste. They taste fine to me. I guess if you’re looking for them to taste like candy you’ll be disappointed. They taste a bit like watered down jello. The caffeine seems to work for me. I’ve used them before workouts and have felt energized. I ran a 15k and after I finished both my legs cramped so bad I fell to the ground. I remembered I had one of these in my pocket I didn’t use in the race. I took it and the cramps went away like magic.

Works great
Okay, so these taste bad BUT it is over quick with no lingering aftertaste and they work so well that it is worth it. I will usually have one before a long run or on a long hike. These SAVED ME while on a 10 hour hike day in Costa Rica. If you can suck it up and get paste the taste, you will not regret this purchase

Caffeine and carbs!
These worked perfectly for me for a marathon, consuming one for every hour I was running. Because you don’t need to drink water with them, you don’t have to deal with bloating or cramps while running, biking, etc. They don’t have a strong, artificial taste but rather an easy-to-consume, smooth one and they don’t need to be heavily squeezed to get everything out the package. The caffeine works great in keeping you alert and reducing soreness during long distances. Overall, they’re great for getting through long runs and rides.

Not the best taste ever but it’ll do the job
The flavor is ok, not too sweet just the right amount of flavor. Gave me good energy and was easy on my stomach and did not felt heavy or sticky like other gels. It can be a bit hard to rip open as you’re riding but overall it is a great purchase and worth the price. After consuming it, I drank my water with electrolytes and went on my cycling without a problem.I am lactose as well and this did not affect me one bit. (Not sure if contains anything of that sort) just thought I’d mention it.

Caffeine and carbohydrates
Got double espresso. The taste is not really the original espresso coffee, but hey, that's supposed to be a product to boost your performance and help you carry on.Taking two of them for a marathon, one in the middle and another around mile 18-20. Still have a problem with the last miles, and trying to get it under 4 hours. My level is advanced beginner, completed the marathon twice. Training further to improve time and attend ironman. Also taking some caffeine at start, but a different product. Seems that both software engineering and marathon running work better when caffeine is provided.

Taste disgusting but they work
Horrible medicine taste. The most foul gel I’ve had by far. However, they did work and gave me a big boost. I won’t be buying these again.

Great product
I always have SIS gels with me on all my rides both long and short. Great product, used them exclusively on my SW Florida summer rides, along with lots of water. The caffeine gives me the extra boost I often need to complete my ride.I have been using SIS gel for a few years, they have never felt like a glob of glue in my stomach. Salted Strawberry and Orange caffeine my favorite. OK all you old guys (73 plus) no more excuses grab your gel and go for a long ride.
