Love it so much that Ive ordered two of these now so I can use both portafilters at the same time. The quality is fantastic, I'm really happy with the calibre of extractions I now get on my machine and my espresso is dreamy and smooth like honey. I find that I can grind finer with this basket over the stock one that came with my Lelit machine. I have tried a few others like the Big Bang but opted for this basket as it was my favourite, and will be for as long as I have them.

Very nicely made. Faster extraction, be sure you have the means to achieve a finer grind if you upgrade to one of these. I haven't noticed any difference in performance to the VST, but I'm a novice.

Brilliant upgrade over standard OEM baskets, and one of the "less expensive" specialist variants. The vague rainbow pattern may be a bit of a gimmick, but I quite like it. It's also interesting to look through a precision basket such as this against the light, vs the OEM versions (or at least the ones I've seen). Often you can see that some of the holes on the OEM baskets are missing! As a result you will probably need to re-calibrate grind settings as extraction is faster - but I think it's been worth the upgrade.

Superb basket. Non stick. Really does the job. Nice for a big espresso shot.

Basket too wide even for 58.5mm tamper, need at least 58.8mm. Nano coating is rubbish, had a couple of chips off coating and was detrimental to espresso extraction due to nano surface tension. I wouldn’t bother with this basket, it’s flawed! Get OEM La Marzocco Advanced Precision baskets 17g or 21g instead, better than VST imo. They also come in ridgeless version and are smooth Matt finish.

I wasn't happy with the stock Gaggia Classic basket, the holes seemed poorly formed. Hence I quickly opted for the E&B 18 gram basket (the biggest one I thought would fit in the stock Classic portafilter). I now get much better results. One comment is that this basket has a somewhat domed rim - which makes it a tighter fit in the grouphead, Consequently it needs a firmer hand to lock the portafilter in place than when using the stock basket.

OMG so much channeling from this basket. The standard basket I have with my Profitec Move is way better and consistent. I have tried various combinations of dialing in my coffee to get a good flow and even with my puck prep in terms WDT , distributor and tamp and puck screen still lots of channeling .

Good quality and big improvement on cheap filter baskets, to be fair the ones that came with my Sage are good

Great support from Verybarista. I was able to try this basket as well as the big bang basket. Both are top quality and unique In their own ways. I am still testing their strengths but so far the E&B seemed great for lighter roasts and the big bang basket for darker ones. So many variables but I've had great results from these. I have owned 20 and 18 VST an 18 ims baristapro and now the 15 E&B and Big bang by ims. Since I drink two shots a day I wanted to reduce my caffeine intake slightly and these baskets are the perfect for that. Single 8-12g baskets can be really fussy to dial in and clean out. These baskets are much much better 5 stars

The basket works as described and the puck knocks out more easily than the manufacturer supplied basket.
