This is great for adding quick-release functionality to action cameras, cell phone mounts, and modular setups. This is the fourth one I’ve purchased. I have one for my Insta360, another for my GoPro, and a third for my cell phone mount. Make sure you get the narrower one if you’re using it with an Insta360 or 360-style camera. I have both the narrow and universal types. This mount is extremely strong and firm — it won’t budge once it’s locked in. It’s one of the best quick-mount systems available. They also make larger models for bigger cameras, but the F22 size is perfect for action cameras and lightweight devices. The package comes with the mount, plate, and tools. I highly recommend this if you want a quick and reliable way to mount your cameras, gimbals, or sport mounts for your GoPro, Insta, or DJI cameras. If you’re on the fence, just get it — you won’t be disappointed.

So it is really small. It's well made but doesn't slide on or off as easily as the larger F38 or swiss style. Good for a camera like the Sony ZV-1 or anything smaller. I'm keeping it but will stick to the larger ones going forward.

I bought 2, just in case I needed the second one for something. They are great! As the photo shows, I am using it with my Canon Power Shot V-10 vlogging rig. Without a quick release, I have to manually take the everything apart, just to get the camera off, and back on the way I want it, as well as to get the SD Card out. A quick release allows me to only have to unscrew the one plate, and back on, in order to get the card out. WAY faster and easier. I also wanted a super light weight one, and this weights VERY little. Adding it to the rig, the difference in weight wasn't even noticeable! Amazing quality, fully made of metal, and the locking mechanism stays in place perfectly!

This will work on my Canon EOS Rebel WITH telephoto lens and both my GoPros. Makes changing mounts and tripods so much easier. I'm going to order one for each mount. Reasonably priced and very well made. Very small and lightweight. Easy to use. A large variety of different devices to use with this. Plus GoPro mounts work with these great. Strongly recommend.

No Regrets. Solid. Quality parts. Will be using for podcast mics on desktop mini tripods w screw adapters for mic clips.. Why you ask? Desktop camera tripods are small, light, stable and very portable. Of course, the intended use is as a camera tripod. I would have no problems using this plate in either situation. Highly recommended!

I was sceptical when I first got one of these, but I am a true believer now. I have these on everything. All cameras, mounts, and accessories. It is fast and secure to mount any action cam to any type of mount and make it super fast and easy to change around. I am a big peak design guy and this works just as well only on a smaller scale. Strong, lightweight, and easy to use makes this a must have for anyone using action cameras.

Very helpful when shooting photo or video, especially on the go or when switching multiple devices on one tripod, monopod, etc. For more fast paced shoots, or when on the go and traveling light, this QD system is a luxury that makes things so much easier to switch between. You can mount the bottom piece on anything with a 1/4" mounting screw, and the top can mount to anything with a 1/4" mounting hole. The button on the side releases the two pieces from each other, and you can slide them apart and switch out other devices with the mounting plate attached, or rotate the device in increments of 90 degrees... The possibilities are virtually endless. Whenever I have a tripod out and want to use more than one camera on the same spot, this comes in handy. Whenever I am on a trail and want to put my monopod or gimbal down for a moment by attaching it to a small tripod, this comes in handy. Whenever I want to connect camera devices quickly without stopping to tighten stuff in with a screwdriver or twisting my wrist repeatedly, this comes in handy. There's so much more to be done with this than I can even think of at the moment. The construction is metal, with some rubber grip to protect mounted devices from scratches and add friction to hold it in place. The mounting screw on the top plate rotates freely and allows for your cameras/lights/field monitors etc. to be tightened in at any angle of rotation you'd like relative to the mounting plate. The plate is also symmetrical along 2 axis so you can essentially rotate the devices 90 degrees without having to unscrew and tighten the device back onto the mounting plate again, simply by rotating the way the plate faces in the bottom half. This is a small, compact size which is perfect for lighter cameras or attaching monopods to tripod adapters etc. Unfortunately there is no locking mechanism for the release button on this model like they offer on the larger F38 version of this mount (The version with the Arca Swiss mountable base, which is better suited for larger cameras and larger tripods.) This means you may run the risk of dropping your equipment if this button is pressed when the rig is held at the right angle to drop the plate out towards the ground, just something to be careful for. There is a very tight tolerance for how the pieces fit together, and they are machined to fit this way for a reason. This translates to no unwanted shake or movement due to a rocking mount, but I suspect over time this may begin to happen as the surfaces wear each other down. It hasn't happened yet though. This is a quality product that will save you lots of time switching gear between mounts, meaning more time capturing images and videos and less time tinkering with hardware when out in the field. Highly recommended

This mount adapter is great for your small devices like an insta360 or a dji pocket 3. Ive used this on both devices and they work great. Fast to mount and also remove. I actually bought two of these so that I can used them interchangeably with different tripods and selfie sticks. Because of the small form factor, they are not suitable for even the smallest mirrorless camera, maybe a point and shoot like the Sony RX100 is still workable.

Bit larger than the one available in the USA (amazon). However works well.

Because the Insta360 is a longer and heavier camera, similar mounts that I tried flexed too much. The F22 plate mating is very solid and there is no flex of the camera when using it.

The base (the part that goes to tripod, etc.) is great. The tripod bites into the base well and it's locked in place. The release button is easy to use. the Plate (the part that goes to camera) IS NOT great. It's "Meh". Because I can tighten it with a screwdriver, but I just twist the plate counterclockwise, and it EASILY loosens up, and making everything amazing about F22 a trash. Unless I am committed to this system and supergluing the base of the camera with the plate, I do NOT trust this plate. All I need to do is bump the camera at just the wrong way and it'll twist, lose its grip and the camera is now "hanging by a thread" I am very on the fence with this and still contemplating whether to risk it to my trip to Japan, or give up and return these.
