This kit contains pretty much all you need to install the included solar connectors. It did take two tries to get it right because I used the wrong ferrule on the first connector. After realizing that error.....boom, clean, smooth, and simple. The crimp is beautiful and perfect. A very high-quality crimp. I watched one YouTube video that recommended striping an inch of the end of the wire. I think this is incorrect and only requires about 1/4 inch or so....just enough to go just past the crimp ears. The wire cutters aren't so great....throw them in your kitchen tool drawer and buy some Kliens. I highly recommend this kit.

Be careful not all solar panel connections are the same and some are different enough to make the tools for taking apart / tightening not the same on all fittings. The blue plastic connections, 1 broke because they are plastic and not metal that is why I gave it a 4 star. If that had been metal and not broken it would be 5.

If you have a solar set-up for your Overlander or RV, you'll definitely want to pick up this set. Throw it in the vehicle and you're ready to go should you ever have problems or need to modify your set-up - or help others who may not have these supplies or tools on hand. Glad I have it; it's cheap insurance!
