Great colour and used only a little black.

This is a small 60ml bottle of bright red food colouring.Unlike the food colourants of my youth it is not made with cochineal! (Honestly YUK! google it!)Consequently it is vegetarian and even certified as vegan friendly.It is easy to use and you only need a small amount to give a good vibrant red colour!Best of all it is not made with crushed bugs like cochineal so my partner will use it!This bottle is good value for money because only a tiny amount is needed and the bottle will last for ages!It can effect some children so if your child is effected by food colours it may not be right for you!Happy to help!

I've tried several black food colourings now to turn vanilla buttercream in to a black colour and none of them work. Even using the microwave method it still turns out purple. If you're getting black buttercream using this, you must be using near enough the whole bottle - which you're not meant to (see bottle instructions and UK food colouring laws) especially for selling on.
