Great Reel
Amazing reel for the price. Had one for over a year and just bought another for my other rod. Holds up well in saltwater and is very smooth.

Sold reel for the price!!!
I’ve fished with my 3000 size reel 3x so far in fresh water. Handled roughly six 10lb/12lb pound blue catfish and a 15ish pound freshwater drum like nothing. It has a smooth stopping drag. It didn’t skip under load. It’s a solid reel. I’m quite surprised with this Japanese or Chinese Shimano knock off but for the price I’m definitely considering buying another one.

It can definetly handle the pressure of a 12lb snook
Great reel. 5000 series with 40lb braid. Put it to the test last night. Is officially been battle tested. I must say I was skeptical because of the price point compared to some of the comparable reels on the market from major name brands. It's every bit as smooth and the power handle really helps you put the pressure of the fish. I'll be buying a few more for sure.

Accuretta FPS2000
Came across this reel and read the reviews. Surprised to see such positive reviews on a sub $40 reel. Overall finish is nice with the exception of a couple of minor blemishes which do not effect performance. I spooled some 15lb braid. Bearings are smooth drag is solid. Will update once I use it.

Johnny the Greek, his new reel.
Wow, what a really nice real was not expecting this for the price. I’m gonna put it on a Saint Croix 7 foot six triumph, surf rod for fluke fishing on the surf.

Honestly, one of the best reals I’ve owned
I own Shimano casters reels. I’ve owned penn reels and none of them come close to this one. I’ve spent $350 on my Shimano one don’t even use it anymore because this one is way better it cast super smooth the drag on it is amazing. I’ve used it in saltwater and freshwater and haven’t lost a fish on it and I’ve had it for a couple months

Anti-Reverse would not engage right out the box
I ordered this reel and grabbed it otw out the door on a long distance fishing trip. When we got to our destination I spooled it up on the beach, only to realize the anti-reverse wasn’t engaging when I would flip the switch. So long story short it was unusable for surf fishing on day 1. I took it back to our hotel and took it apart to find the spring was just lay loose inside of the housing. I reconnected it and now it’s working but the spring that I had to reconnect got a little stretched trying to repair it on the fly without proper tools. I am not a fan of the drag system either as it goes from heavy drag to zero drag in a slight turn. It’s a good looking reel visually but so far I’m pretty disappointed. I’ll update this review if it happens to last longer than I anticipating, but based on my initial impressions I’m guessing this is destined for the scrap heap very soon. For the price it was worth a try I guess.
