Absolutely Fantastic NDI Camera System!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Fantastic NDI Camera System!I recently purchased the Fomako NDI cameras and joystick controller, and I couldn't be more impressed! The setup was straightforward, and the video quality is outstanding—crisp, clear, and professional. The NDI integration makes it easy to connect to my streaming setup without extra cables, and the low-latency performance is perfect for live production. The joystick controller is a game-changer, allowing smooth and precise control over multiple cameras. The pan, tilt, and zoom functions are incredibly responsive, and the build quality feels solid and reliable.Overall, this system exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're using it for church services, live streaming, or professional video production, this is a fantastic investment. Highly recommend! 🚀🎥

Broadcast Squad in a box!
amazing value for what otherwise would be a broadcast team of multiple people operating cameras. the coolest part is i can mount these in places that people can't go, then run wire (or NDi) so i get perspectives only a drone or boom would capture.i'm not sure how or why anyone would get the cameras without the controller, but it's fairly straightforward operation. set your IP and you've got access (via PoE). I've only run cat6 and HDMI so I can't speak to other features, but the quality is quite consistent. i've connected this to the YoloBox Ultra YBU on a few occasions. apparently YBU has PTZ controls, but just like a laptop - who would want to click boxes.. whereas you could push buttons & operate a joystick that feels as tight as a tripod?still need to get more comfortable w color correction since most of my shows are in low-light. cameras performs well, just needs adjusting because of variable show lights. I also need to adjust the speed of the 'call functions'. again tho- how much would you pay for a team of 2 people to setup in 4-6 spots around a venue? will share photos soon...

Great Price, Great Buy... Decent Video
For the price, this is a steal for what they do. Easy to setup if you know how to use networking equipment. Running on NDI mostly. The quality could be better on the cams; but you get what you pay for on that note. They are still great quality, just a little less than the more high-end counterparts.

Great camera and controller for the money
Seems to work as well as our multi-thousand dollar Panasonic NDI PTZ. I had questions before and after purchase, and support was great. Communication is by email, but generally there is a response within 24hrs. Written instructions are a little thin especially around the tracking feature, but FoMaKo has produced several videos which help along with other videos on YouTube. I am happy with my purchase, and will probably purchase another camera in the future. My only 2 complaints. 1) the included wall mount is a little thin and flimsy and picture vibrates when someone closes a door. I'll probably just build my own, it's not terribly complicated. 2) Auto tracking is decent and follows one person around very well, by can be confused by multiple people in the picture frame. It would be better if the tracking had acceleration and deceleration in it's movement making it a little smoother instead of abrupt start/stops on tracking. Hopefully that could be fixed in firmware and upgraded later. I'll try to update this review in 6 months with a little more time on it.

A great PTZ camera with a good price!
I always use this PTZ camera with our hybrid meetings, it works with Zoom and MS Teams app, and with the new controller I can see the preview video before switching the camera. It works very well with NDI tools and very responsive to all its command as a webcam. The camera also works well with OBS PTZ plugins and with my ATEM mini extreme switcher, Streamdeck and Bitfocus companion. I would recommend this product to everyone with a limited budget. Thanks to Ivan for updating my controller.

I returned one - but still have 3
I have a couple of Fomako camera and there are a couple of things to know 1. If on sale they are a good bargain 2. In a static environment, once calibrated very solid 3. It's a crap shoot in quality sometimes 4. The website is absolutely useless - even the camera finder app is a rar. File and forget firmware updates you'll never find or get them. 5. The sensors are ALL over the place (trying to match up any 2 cameras is overwhelmingly tedious, the one push (or manual) white balancing function is essentially just for show as again the sensors are obviously calibrated differently (or not at all. 6. The interface varies from camera to camera (which is why I went looking for firmware updates that don't exist) so it is AGAIN tedious to match up cameras. So you may be wondering why I own some - because as a single shot camera ON SALE it isn't bad to have but If you want a multi camera setup go with a company that has updates, quality controls etc.I will reach out via email to see if anything can be done but even that option becomes TEDIOUS as I should just be able to get things from the website but nope. So there is my review. I want to love them but I don't oh and the autofocus leaves a lot to be desired (but you can just toggle it off).UPDATE ***So some models do have firmware updates on the website. IMPORTANT some do not. I was able to upgrade 2 of the 3 that I have - HOWEVER the black KN20A PRO update cannot be found. After a lot of fiddling I was able to figure out the RG/BG function of the cameras (because again the white balances are ALL over the place and the push ability/color temp function is worthless) but with that said EUREKA!!! Adjusting the RG/BG one far left the other far right put me in a good starting place. And from there I was able to match up the cameras pretty good. Im still glad I returned the one I did as there was something wrong with it but now I feel comfortable changing my review from a one star to a 3 star (for now). Once I use/test it in the field I will know better.I was pretty mad when I wrote my initial review because of the lemon I received and the troubleshooting that came with it but after calming down, with a little know how these things aren't bad ( I should create some videos on what I've found) as there is virtually nothing out there so you have to fidget with them and the website to get a decent starting place.Ok that's it for now 3 stars possibly 1 more soon
