I bought this mat last year, probably like 4-5 months ago and I was really waiting for write my review because I sweat a lot and I practice daily and sometimes even twice a day including hot yoga so I just wanted to make sure this mat could last and work for this heavy practice... let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! The grip is amazing! Not only while doing hot yoga but my hands sweat a lot and this mat hold my body perfectly! Also, the design is super cute and it’s very comfy since I didn’t get the thicker one. It’s very light compared to my old cork mat so yes! I’m very happy with it!

I use this mat 5+ days a week in my hot yoga class. Before this mat I had a sweat towel and it was always moving and bunching up in class. I absolutely love the design and the feel of this mat. It absorbs my sweat extremely well and the design is super cute. Keeps me centered during flows. My only complaint was the same as others indicated. The smell is very strong at first. I just let it air out in my garage for a couple of days and the smell went away. Highly recommend

I love this mat! Hot yoga sweat sesh approved! I was using a yoga towel thingy over my old mat, but it was always moving around and getting in my way- messin with my vibe! This cork mat is the bees knees! Sturdy, no slipping, cleans up well. So happy with my purchase- worth every penny. With regard to the smell others have written about- I mean ya, it initially had a smell but it goes away with use and cleaning. I mean, what new items don’t have a smell! It’s gotta me made of something other than roses! Just get the mat- you won’t regret it!

I bought this yoga mat in early 2021 and it took some time to get used to. I was constantly slipping around on it in down dog and other poses you can rely on the mat to hold you in. I was about to give up and go on the hunt for a new one when I started getting the hang of it. My yoga mat basically broke in, and became a little tackier. I swear it wasn’t from dirt buildup or anything, it just needed some roughing up.For newbies looking at this yoga mat like I was and see “slipping mat”, it’s not slipping on the floor it’s slipping under your hands in poses. I was one of those who thought “how does it have rubber siding on the bottom and slide everywhere?”. It doesn’t, it’s very sticky to the floor!I also have hardwood floors, so the knees feel it in some poses (I’m 30). But overall it’s okay! I also never had a problem with a smell like some other reviews. It did have a “new” smell but it went away faster than the mat broke in.Something else to mention is the print on it is still very intact. There isn’t any chipping or wear it still looks the way it did when I first got it! So I would say this is extremely well made.I give this 4/5 stars because although it “broke in” it’s still slippery, and on my weaker days I still slide around on it. I love it and it’s beautiful and I still use it every day!

I initially bought the cork mat because I liked its look, that it was eco-friendly and that it would be good for warm or hot yoga workouts.Besides using it for yoga, I starting using it for my body-weight work outs and stretching, I love it. It's sturdy, I don't slip, and I don't need a towel to put over the mat when I start sweating. This is great mat for Yoga and for all my other workouts.

This cork mat is awesome! Super grippy (not too trippy), texture is great, lots of padding. I love it!It doesnt bother me, but in case it will bug you, the ink pattern smudges slightly with sweat and cleaning. Still love my purchase, though.

This mat is beautiful for sure, but the point of a yoga mat is to provide cushioning for your body while working out and this mat is paper thin! I would think for this expensive of a mat it would provide some kind of support, but its super thin.

I’ve had this for about two months now and have used it for hot yoga about 3x a week. So far so good! Love the pattern. I use the designs to help align myself. It really absorbs so much sweat (and I sweat a lot!). Overall I’m very pleased and I see myself using this mat until I have to retire it.

I used to always buy the longer, wider, cushier mats, but after many years of practice, I was ready to upgrade and decided to treat myself to my idea of a "professional" mat.*It is thin*Like much thinner than any other mats I owed. I can definitely feel the ground more, which in this case is amazing as I gained stability and grounding. I can say that it's harder on the knees, but I was ready for it and didn't feel any pain practising. But if you have joint pain, this one might not be for you. It rolls super small and compact, but the material still makes it heavy (so maybe not for travelling on a plane for instance) and doesn't move or lift from the ground.*It is short*And by short I mean regular sized. I'm 5'10, and I always felt I needed a longer mat. But for the last year or so, as I was getting more centred on the mat, I felt I haven't been using the last 8 inches of the one I had. I gave this one a go and felt like it was actually perfectly sized with still some room for play at the top and bottom.*It doesn't have alignment marks*But the symmetrical design is quite enough to guide in all poses and to accurately find the middle, which I still enjoy.*It doesn't slip*Which it what I mostly wanted from a mat. I also wanted the feeling and grips of a nice mate and non plastic-y material, and I'm absolutely pleased with the fell. Also perk of the prints at the top and bottom makes it extra grippy without being sticky.*It does have a smell*But quite faint, and I recon that after a few uses it will go away. I mean, it's that whole "new car smell" thing, and I enjoyed the smell of my shiny new playground.*It's beautiful*That in itself makes me want to take it out and roll on it, and brings me joy in my practice.Bottom line : I love it, and it was less pricey than other options.

Really pleased with this. Such a lovely mat, quality , perfect printing. It’s thin but flexible . Easy to roll but quality. The print is perfect. I was worried by the other reviews that the mandala design would be badly printed and product inferior but I have to say this product is of very good quality . So happy I went with it .

In addition to being beautiful and eco-friendly (natural rubber), it is the most comfortable yoga mat I've ever tried for a strong yoga practice. No knee pain in child pose, no balance problem in standing asanas... Simply amazing.En plus d'être fait à base de caoutchouc naturel donc sans plastique, ce tapis est le plus confortable que j'ai essayé pour un yoga dynamique. Il amorti sans rebondir, n'est pas dur ni moelleux, c'est un bonheur !
