I bought this kit mainly for the scissors so I could take them on flights to use for opening food bags, cuttings hairs, etc. The kit was not much more expensive than buying just the scissors alone. I have not used any of the other items in the kit though. I do like the little plastic box that it comes in; it works quite well to keeping things together and is small.

Brought this with us when traveling abroad to Paris and London. Ended up using it in Paris when a zipper broke! Packs really well due to the convenient size. I love that it's all organized into a small compact plastic case. Functional, good quality, and amazing value. It's better to have this with you, for sure! It takes up such small room, so buy it and pack it knowing you are prepared for wardrobe malfunctions!

This is a great emergency sewing kit. It’s about the size of a mini altoid tin. I brought it with me to a wedding, had no issues in TSA with it and it came in handy. I was a bit worried about the plastic box popping open but it has floated in the bottom of purses and backpacks for a while and thrown about and hasn’t opened. Scissors are nice and sharp. They are a bit difficult to fold back down but the rounded tip is a least a little safer to handle. There’s a decent variety of thread colors and enough thread to get you through a pinch. The buttons and safety pins were a great addition. For emergencies I would recommend replacing the measuring tape with more safety pins but otherwise I think it’s all you would need for on-the-go fixes.

I bought this to go into my suitcases when going on vacation. It has everything you may need for quick repairs, which I’m thankful for because I got a small tear in one of my outfits while on vacation. It’s a great value for the price, small enough to throw in a purse or bag, and has all the essentials like thread, needles, pins, and even a foldable scissor

Useful; love it

Everyone should carry a sewing kit, you never know when you are going to need it. Just add some extra safety pins. The quality is ok, the scissors can be a little tricky to open and close(watch your fingers). Not a bad kit to throw in your car, purse, backpack or luggage.

Very portable and usable! There are a good variety of thread colors too. The needle assist tool (whatever it's called) did break on my first use, although I was accidentally a bit forceful so it may have been my own fault so i won't take a star off for it. Comes with a good amount of stuff and the scissors are very intelligently designed. Love it! A possible improvement would be some sort of locking/sliding latch so it can't be opened on accident. But that may end up making it bulkier so it's a toss up.

I own several pairs of these scissors and somehow, after my last move, I have misplaced every one. I can’t be without them so I’m back for another pair. I’ve used these for everything. My knitting and crochet supply/project bags. In my ballet bag. Even in my regular kit for sewing my pointe shoes. I have them in my desk, travel toiletries bag, and more. Yes, it’s insane I’ve misplaced so many pairs. But until I find them I needed another pair and these are so darn good it was worth the spend. I never have issues folding and unfolding them. Some of my oldest pairs are around a decade old, and they still function like brand new. Once open they’re like any other scissors and they stay sharp! Doesn’t matter if I’m scoring the sole of a leather pointe shoe or cutting through silk needlepoint threads. They do the job.I love that they have a little hole so you can add a charm or attach them to a lanyard. I didn’t need this little kit and as someone that’s been sewing since childhood I have better supplies on hand already. Still, it’s nice if you need these in a pinch. Even if you don’t, the box is really practical. I love small boxes like this for my project bags. I can never get enough. So this kit is just a phenomenal value. I’ll probably buy a second.

It doesn’t matter if the scissors are tfsa compliant they will find a reason to take these. Because they like to power trip :) save your money and time and for-go trying to bring scissors no matter how small or dull.

This is a gorgeous little set with beautiful scissors. I checked all the regulations for Australian air travel and these are supposedly TSA approved. Everything looked fine. However on my first trip through an airport today they were confiscated!! I am thoroughly disappointed as they apparently do not meet the specifications for Australian air travel. Completely unacceptable.

Excelente kit de costura para emergencias, tales como la caída de un botón, una rasgadura en la ropa. Los imperdibles son lo único malo, están hechos de ese metal demasiado maleable que no penetra ni la más suave tela. Afortunadamente, tengo unos de fabricación nacional excelentes. Las tijeras me encantaron, las mejores plegables que he tenido, filosas y resistentes, no parece que se vayan a desarmar nunca. Están en mi llavero ahora. Junto con el mini cuchillo Nite Ize hacen una excelente mancuerna.
