Eathtek New Laptop Black Keyboard with Backlit and Frame for HP Pavilion dv6-7000 dv6-7100 ENVY dv6-7200 dv6-7300 698951-001 Series US Layout

The keyboard received is not like the one pictured, and the difference is significant. The left shift key is half the size of the original and the return key is higher than it is wide (see the attached photo). In addition, next to both keys is an odd forward slash/bar key. Two of them! Perhaps for programmers? Regardless, the effect is that I wind up with extra backslashes when \i want to type a capital letter or hit enter. Maybe I have fat fingers but it's frustrating and not really usable.

I spilled water on my keyboard, and put off replacing it because I was intimidated. But I finally got up the nerve to find the right replacement. I ordered this Friday evening and received it Monday morning. The price was competitive and my Prime free two day shipping was applied.The keyboard looks and feels exactly like the original. I found a tutorial on youtube (it's 3:06 long, to help you find it), and it was a piece of cake to install. It took me less than fifteen minutes, and the new keyboard works and looks perfect.I'm so impressed and relieved!UPDATE: The installation was smooth and everything went well for a while, but now the keys are getting squeaky. I didn't even know that was a thing, but sometimes they make a high-pitched squeak when I'm typing the letters. I suspect it may drive me insane. Does anyone have a solution? WD-40?

I spilled half a jug of water on my laptop and the 2nd and 4rd rows of the keyboard got shorted so when you press one key, it would type 2 characters! I knew the company rework would be pretty costly so bought this one and it works perfectly. It feels the same as original HP keyboard. No issues. Some of the keys' side walls had some grey color marks on them (looked like some paint during manufacturing process) but they disappeared after few weeks of usage.

It's durable and the color is beautiful

As the title says, it arrived broken. A tab at the bottom which holds it into place was broken off and loose inside the packaging. I was very disappointed due to the fact that other reviewers had no issues and I really needed a new keyboard. The only reason I gave it more than 1 star is because I did like the look of it and Amazon refunded me. Will be buying from elsewhere.

I bought this from seller IMKeyboard and it appears to be the exact same thing as the keyboard that I took out of my laptop (same keys and everything). It is just a LITTLE (and I mean a little) smaller in one of the corners, so I had to sit it just right to avoid it popping out again, but for $20, you can't beat it. It was easy to install thanks to a two-minute youtube video.

My keyboard stopped working and I ordered this replacement. I installed it super easily and havent had any problems since!

Easy install after factory keyboard started typing random characters on its own, watched you tube video on removal and installation which helped a lot. This keyboard was for my HP Pavilion dv6-6c47cl, OEM was over $70. Still working great after over 2 months.
