Large End-Grain Teak Wood Cutting Board, [17"L x 13"W x 1.5"T] Juice Groove, Reversible, Built-in Hand Grips by Shumaru California

This board looks fantastic and is well built. I purchased some food grade mineral oil to seal it and all went well. I've sealed it twice now (once a month) and it still looks like the day I bought it minus a few knife cuts from where I made a poor decision with a clever. Overall, this performs and looks just as great as those much more expensive models.

First one had a separation in the wood. Second one had corner damage and didn't look like good teak quality - going to try one more time - third time a charm?After 4 tries - got a board that meet my expectations.

This board initially seemed nice, It is solid, well constructed, and the end grain seems to be gentle on my knives.after a couple weeks the board started to wobble. I contacted the manufacturer who suggested a soaking and weighing procedure to straighten the board. It did not work for me.They offered a replacement, but I am returning it, because I am not confident the replacement is not going to warp.

Just bought this item as a Christmas present for a family member. Looks beautiful. and sturdy. It's nice and thick and the color is really lush. I cannot attest to how sturdy it might be over time or how difficult it might be to keep it looking new, because I did not use it, but based on looks, color, and quality of workmanship i think the price was quite fair. I was very pleased with this purchase.

I prefer the side without the grooves but noticed within a month that it was bowing.I never submerge and clean with a damp sponge after every use and only soap occasionally.The bowing came as a disappointing surprise, but when I flipped it over it gradually became flat again until eventually bowing the other way.I live in a warm/humid climate, so likely the cause.As long as the curving continues to correct itself by switching sides, I will continue to be happy with this board.

I went back and forth on this cutting board because for an end grain board I thought it almost seemed too cheap. I am glad I purchased it. It came with oil but I applied mineral oil twice before use. The board is great, high quality craftsmanship and looks great on our counter leaned against back splash. The juice groove is nice and deep as well with really nice handles on the sides. I would highly reccomend this cutting board not only for value but it is excellent quality.

This board is beautiful, sturdy, and a great price. There was a defect with the first board that I bought, but their customer service replaced it quickly and easily. Very, very happy with this purchase.

I have its big brother. I do clean and oil it .I follow care directions like washing both sides and standing them up to dry
