Works Great
Started out attempting to use #10 wire wrapped around the spring (youtube recommendation). The wire cost more than the spring tool. The spring hook is a much better solution, I highly recommend.

Good spring tool
I was actually working on the drive of a garden tractor. The spring for the tension had broken, these were just what I needed to pull the end of the spring through the frame to where it mounts.

Well made, seems durable
I bought this muffler spring hook to use when I work on dirt bikes. (Two-cycle dirt bikes almost always have a tuned exhaust system held on by a powerful spring rather than bolts.) It looks durable, but time will tell.

Works great on my mower deck
I have used it on the mower deck, the kickstand spring on my Harley, and to remove interior parts on the door panels on my Ford truck!
