These SATA power extension cables worked perfectly to extend a couple of my case connections. I used them to extend the power on an LED Controller and a USB 2 hub. I am really glad I found these to help complete my build.

Simple extension cable works great
I have a new full tower PC case where the HDDs are held vertically on the back side of the wall instead of cage mounted horizontally and stacked on top of each other. (this design is aesthetically pleasing since you don't see that mess in your case, and also allows better air flow to your GPU card.)However, my current power cables just didn't have the distance to connect the 2 drives now that the power ports were farther apart. Also, since these are out of the main window view, I didn't need to get more expensive decked out color coordinated and sleeved cables.
